Fatally Flaky, Part 2 Chap 11-18

As we enter part 2, we get to know a bit about Billie's fiancé, Craig. He seems so level headed and willing to put up with the really awful Billie. Se soon find out a bit more about that! Also, we look at the nearly equally awful Lucas, son of Goldy's godfather.

Do you thing the terrible behavior of Billie and Lucas is believeable?

It makes a little more sense after we find out why Craig is marrying Billie and what's in it for him!!! I was really stumped in the beginning.

Anyone else finding this book an easy read? I can read 4 chapters without even realizing I read that far!

I agree that this is an easy read--I am through this second section, and since some of you are, I will start the third and final section probably tomorrow.

I wondered myself about Charlotte and Craig. Perhaps she wanted the marriage so she could be near. Or worse--off Billie herself!

PugMom, Nicole, Pghfan, don't tell me other than a Y or N -- do we get clarification on the lip-lock in the Smoothie Cabin...or whatever it's called. Seems dubbing it as such is very fitting. A new spin on the "Kissing Booth for $1.00" (back in the 40's - 50's). But was there such a thing or is this a myth generated with the stork brings babies era? Or was it a cabbage patch? LOL

Yeah, it does, Pghfan. And as for Miss G having to find the bride-to-be, I'd tell 'em that that is not part of my catering service. Not my yob, mon! Send someone else to find her. I'm surprised Miss G would settle for that one!!

I am about 1/2 way thru story and have yet to read about Jack's demise or disappearance. I s'pose I'll get there eventually? Onward.

Goldy is a sweet lady so she usually tries to do whatever is asked of her. She hasn't toughened up enough in all of these years LOL
