I y name is Joe Miano, a retired physics teacher. I now do volunteer English tutoring to refugees and write poetry and novels. I have had two historical novels published through Peace Corps writers. The first is “A Thief in the African Night” about colonial East Africa in the region of Kenya where I served in the 70s. The second, “The Scribe of Akrai” centered on my grandfathers hill town in Sicily. It covers a sweep of history and myth from 1600 BC to the time of Archimedes. How do I go about getting the book club to review these?
