In a jungle haunted by shapeshifters and devastating earth magic, nothing is as dangerous as family.
It is a tale of brutal conquests, twisted histories and forbidden magic. The Lion chief has three heirs. The warrior, the worker, and the accursed. For one to ascend the lionchair, the others must be broken.
As folklores come alive and dark clouds gather, amid tragedy and victory, honor and betrayal, everyone must gamble for that most elusive of places – survival.
Fans of Joe Abercrombie, G.R.R. Martin and Garth Nix will enjoy this blockbuster debut about a world trapped in eternal warfare and a young warrior who must rise above the clash of princes to bring a new age.

I have a new book that just came out: The Abduction, my translation of Maram Sl-Masri's Le Rapt.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
It won an Albertine and FACE Foundation Grant from Villa Albertine for excellence in translation and publishing.
The Abduction refers to an autobiographical event in Maram Al-Masri's life. When, as a young Arab woman living in France, she decides to separate from her husband with whom she has a child, the father kidnaps the baby and returns to Syria. Al-Masri won't see her son for thirteen years. This is the story of a woman denied the basic right to raise her child.
These are haunting, spellbinding poems of love, despair, and hope, a delicate, profound and powerful book on intimacy, a mother's rights, war, exile, and freedom. Maram Al-Masri embodies the voice of all parents, who one day, for whatever the reason, have been forcibly separated from their loved ones.
She writes about the status of women, seeking to reconcile her role as a mother with her writing work. The Guardian described her as "a love poet whose verse spares no truth of love's joys and mercilessness."
I would love a review and will be happy to send you a copy of the book.
Thank you!

I'm excited to share my debut dark fantasy novel, "A Grey Beginning," with you all here in Oprah's Book Club. As a new author, I'm thrilled to be part of this amazing community of readers and writers.
"A Grey Beginning" is a tale of broken heroes, multiple protagonists, emotional connections, political ambitions, and the manifestation of mankind's sins. Set in a world threatened by a darkness known as The Grey, the story follows a diverse cast of characters as they navigate treacherous terrain and face their own hidden motives and secrets. The novel explores the consequences of ignorance and how even well-intentioned actions can have disastrous results.
As someone who has struggled with a learning disability and comprehension problems, writing this book has been a testament to the power of determination and the human spirit. I hope that my story will inspire others to never let labels define who they are or limit what they can achieve.
I would be honored if you would consider giving "A Grey Beginning" a read and sharing your thoughts on it. If you're interested, you can find the book on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Grey-Beginning.... I'm always eager to connect with fellow book enthusiasts and discuss our shared passion for literature.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post, and I look forward to getting to know you all in this wonderful community!
Warm regards,
Raymond G. Bruderman Jr.
