In his special on Islamic terrorism, WHY THEY HATE US, Fareed Zakaria said it all started with a 1944 pop song called "Baby, It's Cold Outside." I was very surprised just now to hear it on our local radio station. Not only did it offend a Muslim visitor to this country who reacted by becoming ultra-Muslim, leading to a lot of the problems we're having right now, but the song turns out to be a conversation between a man and a woman that's very sketchy. He's trying to get a woman to stay at his place and plying her with alcohol. At one point she says "What's in this drink?" -- as if she suspected he were up to no good.
