Need a haunting recommendation

I'm looking for a truly scary haunting book, one that sets the bar for the others. Hopefully on audiobook, because that's where I have to do most of my reading.

I want something really frightening, not just creepy. Any suggestions?

He just finished doing Koontz his book Funhouse he uses an alias in it or as it is the writer oh and hawk I think sin is the name it’s a short read may be 8 to 10 hours to get through it but it is very disturbing and very his nap anyway it’s just very good
