Page numbers missing

I just started reading this edition of "The Hands of the Emperor" and noticed it's missing its page count.

Page count: 902

World cat (our preferred source for confirming page counts gives the page count as 899 pages. Can you tell me what (if anything) is on pages 900-902 of your copy? Some things we count & some things we don't. :)

A very good point! I went with 902 pages since that's the page count StoryGraph and other sites have listed for the same edition of the book, but in the book itself it does only go up to 899 pages numbered (there is an author's note at the end that takes the page count higher, but it's not numbered).

We would count the author's note. Can you tell me what page that finishes on, even if the page isn't numbered?

No worries, I too want to get this right XD

In my copy of the book the page that ends the story is labeled 899, then there's a blank page (the back of page 899), and then a one-page author's note. That would make the author's note page 901, if I'm not completely out of my depths here?

901 pages it is then. I've added a couple of other details as well. Can you tell me the original publication date as well?

Wonderful! Original publication information in my copy of the book says First published by Underhill Books in 2019.
