Hi, I'm Dan -- I read science books pretty much all the time! I've also written three of them (Universe on A T-Shirt: The Quest for the Theory of Everything, In Search of Time: The Science of a Curious Dimension, and The Science of Shakespeare: A New Look at the Playwright's Universe). And I co-host a podcast called BookLab (http://booklabpodcast.com), along with Amanda Gefter; every two weeks (roughly), we talk about three different science books. You can find us on LibSyn, SoundCloud, and iTunes. Cheers!
Hi, I'm Emily, and I *don't* read that many books on science...but I would like to, and also would like to get recommendations from my knowledgeable colleagues.
Hi everyone! Thanks for joining. I'm still figuring out the format of GoodReads groups. It looks like we can start a bookshelf and add books to it. Might be a good idea for suggested reading material.
Hi, my name is David. I'm the host of a french podcast called "LisezLaScience", meaning "read the science!" in english,(http://lisezlascience.wordpress.com) aiming at presenting science books and their authors. I'm trying to publish an episode every 2 or 3 weeks and people can find us on iTunes and podcloud.
Hello. I'm Alasdair and I've written a popular science book (The Best Bits of Physics). Wow, that sounds like AA or something!I also write a lot of things like revision guides, practice exam questions and that kind of thing.
