Brian | 3 comments Guy wakes up in a strange machine with no memory in the middle of the jungle with a talking monkey-like creature. Cover was a grey border with a picture of a man fighting a robot centered. The name was something like "ROBOTIKA." The man discovers that sentient robots have driven humanity into hiding. He goes off with the monkey and a talking beast to find out where he came from and how he fits into the world. It is illustrated with really cool pictures.
Spoilers below! (Everything I can possibly remember about the plot)

At the end you find out that the man is a clone of the previous ruler of earth, who is currently kept alive in a life-support tank. The machine he was in was a teleporter, which operates by creating a copy of someone and then destroying the original. He was the only one to be able to control the machines to prevent abuse of the power. His wife/coruler? rebelled against him and almost destroyed him. She was injured in the process and was transplanted into a robots body. The robots became sentient after sentient robots from another world made contact. The bacteria they carried took hosts in machines, causing them to become sentient. The robots now have a anti-bacterial spray, supposidly to defend against humans metal-eating bacteria that they've been trying to develop, but in reality it is to prevent sentiency. The nan ends up fighting and defeating the robot leader who was his previous ally, thereby allowing the world to change for the better.
