Hi Lisa! I just finished your request. I've created the series and added the 4 books. Here you go. https://www.goodreads.com/series/3221...

To be a series on Goodreads, books need to have more than a common theme -- like characters in common, an overarching storyline, a shared universe, etc. What makes this a series?

Mantvydas | 1092 comments Series deleted. Can't find any overlap between characters or storyline to make it a series on Goodreads.

I will re-create it if someone can provide answers to rivka's questions.

Lisa Freed | 11 comments Okay, I'm very confused because many series on Amazon have books that have a common theme and are not all in the same shared world.
It's a series on Amazon, so why not on Goodreads?

While Amazon owns Goodreads, the sites have their own policies. From the Librarian Manual:

As a general rule, a book is only part of a series if that designation would apply to all editions of a work. To be a series, books should have characters and/or universes in common. In the case of imprints and other non-series collections, it is common for some of these books to be published under numerous other imprints as well.

Thank you for explaining that.
