Not completely, it felt more like infatuation and author was trying hard to show readers that Naomi and Ethan are feeling something different.

The book was leaning towards steamy so there was not much of the chemistry, but I felt like they complement each other more with their personalities. Ethan is the perfect gentleman, kind, patient, supportive, and perfect for a girl like Naomi who has been fighting for so long, she deserves a guy who would cherish and love her for her personality and flaws not just the physical attraction.
