Appearance: Grizzled features, deep charcoal gray hair and beard streaked with white and silver. Brown eyes, tan skin. Wears an eyepatch and a black military uniform with the patches torn off.
Personality: He's snarky, cynical, and no-nonsense. Etiquette was never his strong suit and he doesn't mince words.
Biography: He was a press-ganged into service as a soldier before deserting and joining the rebels on Echor Island.

"Yep, guess who got stuck with the crazy first name. Me... Well, since I am the firstborn son and such, they decided to honor my great great great grandfather, Leopold George Duncan Albert, and name me after him. Yes, it is a pretty long name, and I hate it, but mother and father do not seem to care too much about it, so I've gotten used to it, except for when my siblings tell everyone what my full name is to my friends so they can bother me about it, that does annoy me, very much so... But anyway, Leopold means, "Brave people" in German."

Last Name: Abbott
"Abbott is a lot less concerning to me when it comes to my names, honestly, I rather prefer it, it's just sort of calm and peaceful, and in a way, that's what the name means. It comes from the Aramaic word Abba and that means Father. Also, an Abbott is the head of a monastery, I just thought that that was an interesting fact."

Nicknames: Leo, Princey, Georgie, it just depends really, but he responds to Leo.

Form: "I'm in the upper sixth form, and I do enjoy my classes. They aren't easy this year, but they aren't too hard as well, meaning that I have some time to myself after my school work is done to do something else, drawing, or working on a story, or even spend time with some of my classmates, although I'm sure father wouldn't approve of latter."

Age: "I have just turned twenty years old, I'm rather excited, in a way. Now my training for when I become the ruler will begin to get a bit harder, and I will actually begin to have to look for a bride...Not something I'm exactly interested in. One day I will be the ruler of our nation, and I have to... Hhm, we were talking about my age? Ah yes, well I just turned twenty a few months ago actually. But I'm sure that you heard, after all, my parents make such a big deal of it in the palace, it's honestly quite embarrassing at times... But then again, they do that for all of my siblings, so I guess it is not too bad."

Gender: "I'm a male, not too much that you can ask me for that, so I'm just going to stop talking now about this, all right?"

Sexuality: "I-I..." awkward silence..." Do not tell my father, b-but, I...I have an attraction to other well...males? But I'm not supposed to, I'm supposed to marry a princess and continue the family line since I'm the eldest...But I will not be happy that way. My siblings are so lucky in that way they aren't expected to have to carry on any of the royal traditions, and when they exit the academy, they can exit the light of royalty, while I have to stay in the eyes of the public, doing what they want me to appease my father and the people..."

Description: Leo definitely takes after his mother when it comes to looks. He has her darker hair which he tends to let grow out, then cut when his father begins to get onto him about it. He knows that it isn't exactly "proper" for men to have longer hair, but he really doesn't care that much about that, which is a bit odd for him since he normally cares so much about his father's rules and opinions. Well, I guess everyone is allowed to have a little bit of rebellion from time to time. His skin is a golden tan since he loves to spend time outdoors, and he seems to be a rather serious person due to the look on his face, which always seems to be in a bit of a pout or some type of frown, although he doesn't think of it as frowning, at those times he's normally thinking over something or thinking of a way to do something that his father may not agree with, but not get caught. He doesn't get away with as much as his younger siblings can, so he has to work harder at hiding it.

Identifiable Features: He has a beauty mark over the right side of his upper lip. But other than that, nothing else, he looks rather normal.

"Oh? You're complaining? Imagine being the crown prince and having a father who expects perfection from you all the time. Then try complaining. over what you were just talking about."

Personality
Personality Description: The way Leo's personality really is quite different from how he is expected to behave by his father and by his tutors and such. He is a very friendly, outgoing, caring young man, but his father wants him to be more regal, separating himself from others in an attempt to make himself look better. And he is much more strict with Leo since he's the eldest and the heir than he is with the other children. Leo's constantly told how he needs to be more responsible, needs to do this, needs to do that, he always needs to fix himself in hopes of pleasing his father. And now he has become a much more nervous person, fearing his father finding out his secret and making his life so much harder. Some of his siblings are aware of his secret and try to make things a bit easier, but normally he feels alone, just wishing that his life could be different, that he wasn't royalty. He often finds himself daydreaming in class about what his life would be like if he wasn't the son of a king if he was free from this life. And although he hates himself for it he sometimes even daydreams about running off, and finding happiness somewhere else, but he doesn't want to leave one of his siblings in the predicament he's stuck in.

Strengths: He seems to be very sure of himself, as though he knows what he's doing with his life and trusts himself and his moral compass, although at times that is true, other times he's just acting. He is also a very compassionate and caring person and tries to take care of others whether they be the people his father wants him to socialize with or not. If they are the former though, he does have to take extra steps to cover up his tracks to prevent his father from finding out and throwing a fit over it. Which well, he's gotten quite used to, so he's been working for years on trying to do somethings behind his father's back, in hopes of getting away with it.

Weaknesses: He doesn't really stand up to anyone. Sure a lot of people like him at school and such, but he doesn't stand up to the bullies, it's not that he doesn't care if hurts, but he just doesn't want word getting back to his parents or anything that he got in a scuffle with anyone because they'd be disappointed in him, and that's one of the last things that he wants in life. To make them proud. Also, he really loves his family, so if his siblings ever need anything, he'll go to the ends of the Earth -or the candy store- to get it for them, he just tends to be a bit too sweet at times and doesn't realize when people are using him.

Likes: He loves his sweets, although who doesn't? Whether it be a fruit or a piece of candy or cake he will love it, and at times he'll be seen walking around campus in the mornings with a cup of coffee and a donut, then in the next class with a different snack. It honestly seems as though he snacks throughout the day. He also likes to go for walks or jogs throughout the grounds of the school and know at the palace. He does love ballroom dancing though, it is one of his favorite classes at the school, and he looks forward to the balls that he is invited to and the ones that his family hosts. He loves the feeling as though he is just gliding across the floor, almost as though he is flying.

Dislikes: He dislikes a couple of his classes at school, but not too much. But if he did have to hate one, it would be his physics class or his math classes. He isn't the greatest with numbers, and at times struggles to understand what is being asked of him. He also dislikes most sports, finding them boring and "Absolutely ridiculous! Who would want to watch grown men throw/kick and chase a ball around for hours? Plus, I get cold sitting outside and watching them. It is rather hard to bring enough blankets with me"

Fears: He is very much afraid of his father, although the man is kind and caring, he expects much from Leo, and that stresses the boy out. He wants to be able to just be himself without displeasing his father or dishonoring his family name.

"Why would you want to go and do a foolish thing like that?"

-Song: Like his mother, he loves to play classical music, although his roommates used to get annoyed with it from time to time. Now that he was returned to the palace he uses his phonograph the whole day, playing his music.

History: Leo had a rather normal childhood for a child from a line of royalty. From a young age, he knew what was expected of him, and has always tried to live up to those expectations, although he does have his struggles. Growing up with all of his siblings was sort of fun until he began to notice the difference between him and his siblings. When he began to become friends with one of the gardeners of the palace who was around his age, his father became furious with him, and soon he was sent to a boarding school to keep him out of trouble. But other than that, other than being pressured his whole life to be someone he isn't someone that is practically perfect, he has had an okay life, and he appreciates the opportunities that he has been given, most of the time. Except for when the topic of marriage comes up in the household. Leo knows that one day he is going to have to marry a princess or even one of the girls that he went to boarding school with, but he isn't happy about that. He tries to hide his sexuality from more people to avoid issues, but he isn't happy about it, and that's all that he wants, is to just be happy with his life and the decisions that have and will be made for him eventually. He just hopes that at that point, when it comes for his parents to choose a partner for him that things will have changed, and that they will understand him and the way he loves.

Other: If he wasn't a prince, if he could be anything he wanted to be, he would most likely want to be a teacher at this school, maybe teaching ballroom dancing. Or well, he isn't sure, all he knows is that there are so many other places he'd rather be than on his father's throne. (hide spoiler)]
