Good morning, I printed 10 proof copies of this book in 2017 with Amazon KDP but it was never published or released for sale.

My book will be traditionally published in September 2021 with Bloomsbury.

I would like to remove this unpublished version of the book from Goodreads please, to avoid conflict with the published version.

I have created a different topic under the Book Issues group to have this version listed under my author profile as it is currently incorrectly listed under another author with the same name.

I'd really appreciate your assistance.

Best wishes
Alexandra Page

Emily | 17467 comments You are writing from a user profile. Please list which books are yours and we will move them to an author profile to claim.

It is actually easier to deal with each issue at the same time instead of in multiple threads.

We cannot delete the older edition, but it can be combined with the main one and you can set it as the default edition that shows up on your profile.

Alexandra Page | 5 comments Hi Emily thanks a lot for coming back to me and for your help.

Sure, my books are:

Wishyouwas (old edition): Wishyouwas
Wishyouwas (new edition): Wishyouwas

Please can the new one be set as the default?

I'll delete my other threads.

Thanks again
Alexandra

Emily | 17467 comments Librarians don't have access to setting the default edition. When you have an author account you will be able to. It will only take a short time, though due to the US holiday weekend it might take a few extra days.

I've moved those books to a new profile.
https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
Scroll down to where it says "Is this you? Let us know" in small print and fill out the form.
Goodreads uses spaces in the author field to differentiate between authors with the same names. You will be Alexandra^^Page where ^ indicates a space. Don't remove the extra space when you get your profile.

Alexandra Page | 5 comments Thank you so much Emily, I've filled out the form.

Can you let me know how I make the new edition the default one? Then I think all is good!
