Balcony
((Ahhhh. My bad, I didn’t see you posted because my thing is weeeeird.))
William pried his eyes from hers and looked down, fidgeting with his hands. “Annie, I…” He looked into her eyes again. “I’m really bad at this.” He felt his ears grow red with a deeper blush. “Would you.. like to go get something to eat sometime?”
William pried his eyes from hers and looked down, fidgeting with his hands. “Annie, I…” He looked into her eyes again. “I’m really bad at this.” He felt his ears grow red with a deeper blush. “Would you.. like to go get something to eat sometime?”
Annie blinked at him “Y-Yes.” Annie managed to say. She felt her entire face turm pink.
Will’s face splint into a smile. “Thank you.” His broken nose bent weird when he smiled, and his scar stretched a little bit, but it was genuine. He leaned against the balcony again, facing her. “So what kind of food do you like?”
“Raw meat, fish and literally anything raw.” Annie said.
He raised an eyebrow. “Raw?” He tapped his fingers lightly on the stone railings.
“Yes.” Annie said. She stood beside him, her dress changing into the color of his eyes. Her red hair turned black as her eyes shimmered to a rich emerald green.
He nodded. “Have you ever tried steak before?” He gave her a sly smile, noting the color change. Hungry, maybe?
“Sometimes.” Annie replied with a sneaky smile on her face.
Will smiled more openly. He could barely feel his powers returning. Something about her smile made him uncomfortable. “Alright.”
Annie looked out at the ground, her hands twitching subconsciously. She took no notice as she gazed out.
As the moment passed, he found himself staring at her again. She was gorgeous. “Do you like the gardens here?” He turned and looked out over them, managing to tear his eyes off her.
“Yes.” Annie said. She rested her head on her hands, breathing in the night air.
He nodded. “That’s good.” He sighed, leaning against the railing.
William tapped out a tavern song as he looked out of the gardens.
Annie rested her head on her hands and sighed quietly.
William looked over at her, a little worried. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing. It’s just... I have a friend here who’s really really young. I worry about her.” Annie said.
He nodded slowly. “I see….” He took a deep breath. “Well, if they ever need a bodyguard, you know where to find one.” He flashed a smile a her. “Besides, if it would make you feel at ease, I can go find them and make sure they are alright.”
Annie looked at him “Yes that would help.” Annie said.
He nodded. “Alright. What does she look like and what did she wear here?”
“She’s a kitten angel and she’s wearing a pink dress.” Annie said
William frowned. “Sorry? Did you say a kitten-angel?” He turned to her.
“Yes. Why?” Annie asked, turning her head to look at him. Her eyes were a quiet blue and her dress was a sweet white, giving her the appearance of a waterfall lake. Her hair was a misty blue-white.
“I.. see..” She changed again. Interesting. Her new colors were beautiful, transfixing. “What’s her name?”
“Oracle Wilderun.” Annie said. She tilted her head slightly.
He nodded. “Alright.. I’ll find her.” He stood, resting a hand on his side sword. “There’ll be a price on the next job.” He winked. “I’m only a mercenary.”
Annie smiled quietly “I know someone who’s a mercenary too.” Annie said.
He nodded. “Cool. Know you know two. I need to go find your friend now. Make sure she’s alright.”
“Can I come with you?” Annie asked.
William nodded, putting his arm out. “Of course. Your help and company would be greatly appreciated.” He doubted that her muted blues and whites would continue inside, but he wouldn’t mind if they did.
Annie held his arm to let him lead her back inside. Her dress shimmered into the image of a sunset with clouds. Her hair was the color of a setting sun.
William walked them back into the ballroom, looking around for anyone who matched the description Annie had given him.
Commented in the ballroom :D ))
Annie walked onto the balcony and breathed. Her green-gold dress rippled in the moonlight. Her eyes were the color of a galaxy.
((Sorry, I had work today.))
William smiled, slipping his arm around her. He did it unconsciously, not completely aware of his actions. “This is better. More peaceful. Not as stuffy.”

It’s fine. Is Will’s arm around Annie’s waist?))
Annie nodded, unaware of Will. She held onto his arm, not caring about her actions. It was peaceful.

((Yeah. My bad, I should have clarified.))
William realized where his arm was and started to pull away. He realized that maybe he shouldn’t. He kept his arm around her, staring at the sky.

It’s okay.))
Annie closed her eyes, leaning into him. The quietness helped her head. The headaches stopped.

((Thanks.))
William let her lean into him, blushing slightly. He hesitantly rubbed her side, letting her unwind. “How are you doing?” He asked quietly.

Annie looked up at him. “It’s more quieter out here.” Annie said.
That was entirely true.
That was entirely true.
He cracked a smile. “It is indeed quieter out here.” He looked down at her, meeting her gaze.
Annie blinked at him. Her dress had sunrises melting in with pale peaches and yellows strengthening into glorious bands of orange and gold. She had bright green eyes, the color of apples.
((My bad, work has been busy the last few days))
William frowned slightly, leaning in, feeling drawn in by her eyes. Her beautiful eyes. Her dress was amazing too, seeming to shine in the dark, evening light. He blushed a little, realizing how close they were, but still staring into her gorgeous eyes.

Annie watched. She felt her cheeks flush a little pink. Her hair was a dark red.
“Thank you.” He whispered. Was he going to far? They just met. Flames, she was beautiful though… She smelled amazing too.. He coul..."
Yes.))
Annie blushed.
