Luna twitched "Iris Tiera.... I miss you..." Luna mumbled, seeming sad. Her ears flicked back.

Kalil glanced at Luna, his eyes sympathetic. He held Luna tightly. She seemed upset.
Luna burrowed into him, chirping worriedly. Her ears flicked down and her tail was moving quickly. She was in one of her nightmares again, the ones that scared her.
Kalil gently shook Luna. "Luna?" he asked. "Wake up," he told the girl. He knew she was having a nightmare.
Luna blinked awake, shivering. She sank into his lap, closing her eyes willfully. Her tail twitched up and down.
"It's all right," Kalil said. He took off his jacket, covering Luna with it. He knew she was probably shivering because she was scared and not because she was cold, but he knew that when he got anxious, having something warm on him helped to comfort him.
Luna blinked up at him. She wasn’t cold, she was scared. Her tail curled around her legs.
"Are you all right?" Kalil asked Luna. "How often do you have nightmares? Do you ever get a good night's sleep?" He looked at the young girl.
Luna blinked “I get nightmares constantly and I never can sleep properly without my father saying things.” Luna said. Her tail shivered and curled around his arm, wanting comfort.
Kalil held her. "I know exactly how you feel," he said. "I rarely sleep good either. I wake up almost nightly. I think I only get maybe 2-4 hours of sleep at most."
Luna nodded and curled into him, purring quietly. She did constantly wake up at the night before she could comprehend what had happened. Her tail twitched quietly.
"You can't let them defeat you," Kalil said. "Many times my nightmares will try to control me. I've let them win in the past, but you can't. You have to stand strong, not letting them knock you down for long. You always have to get back up."
“I’d rather sit in the shadows and let others control my life.” Luna said. She popped out and curled her tail around his hand.!
"Sitting in the shadows is fun," Kalil said. "But if you stay there, they'll destroy you. Your own shadows."Amira stared at Kalil. "Don't scare her, Kal," she snapped.
Luna flattened her ears down and buried her face in his chest. Her tail uncurled. She was afraid and terrfied, since her life usually had her hidden.

Kalil held her. "I warned you," Amira told Kalil. She looked at Luna. "Sorry about my brother," she said. "He can be a bit extreme sometimes."
Luna looked up at Amira, jumped out of Kalil’s arms, waddled over and hugged her leg. She was adorable as damnation. Her tail curled around her leg.
Amira smiled. "My brother doesn't anything by it," she said. "He can just not think sometimes." Kalil glared at his sister.
Luna inched up Amira’s leg and onto her shoulder. Her tail curled around her legs. She was very light and warm.
Amira held Luna. She closed her eyes, reveling in Luna's warmth. She smiled.
Luna purred. She was being a lot more softer with Amira than she was with Kalil. Her tail twitched.
Annie stepped out onto the balcony and breathed. Her dress changed into a calm light pink. It was more nicer out here.

William closed the door behind them. “Is this a little better?” The noise of the ballroom faded as the door closed. Another group was on one side of the balcony, so he lead them to the side opposite them. He didn’t question her dress changing color.
Annie nodded. She breathed softly and brushed her hands over the railing. It was pretty out here.
William leaned against the railing, his lean muscle tightening the fabric of his suit around his upper body. He unbuttoned his coat so it didn’t pull as tightly. He sighed. “It’s nice out here.” The air was chill against his face. It felt nice after the stuffy warmth of the ballroom.
Annie stood near him and nodded quietly. Her red hair changed into a dark red, almost black. Her dress turned the color of the night sky with stars twinkling and her eyes were a light red.
William watched her change, his eyes going wide. “Woah..” He stood up straight and took a step towards her. “That was amazing.”
“My body does that when my emotions change.” Annie said, standing still. She didn’t flinch as Will came towards her.
He nodded, curious. “How do you feel?” He hesitantly put a hand out, then put it in his pocket. His eyes met hers. Such a beautiful shade of red.
“At peace. It’s quiet and nice out here, where there aren’t any noises.” Annie said. She glanced down at his hand and back at him.
He nodded. “It’s nice out here. Quiet, calm, cool.” He glanced down, then back up at her.

He gazed into her beautiful eyes. “Would you, uh. Like to come stay in Lithen with me for a while?” He blushed.
Annie nodded. Her heart was doing backflips at that moment. The young demoness never showed love.
