Kane doesn't know what Liam has been up to. It's possible that Liam and Dante could have fallen out. But he should have given Sean a warning since Dante now knew about the bonds. Maybe he has Siobhan on his mind too much.
Kane is seriously off his game, distracted by his growing feelings and dependency on Siobhan, his bonding with Lucy & Sean and his injury. Otherwise, he would have found Dante & Liam’s falling out rather suspicious given their lifelong friendship. He would normally have looked into it, especially after divulging to Dante that he had the bonds.
The minute those bonds and Sean came into play together, Sean should have been told the whole story about how the bonds came to RCK. I agree that Kane was way off his game on this. His injury and slow recovery, realizing he isn't as young anymore and what his future would be, his growing feelings for Siobhan, all reasons he was distracted. He should have at least questioned Dante's story of the falling out between him and Liam.
I agree. Kane is off his game. He is trying to hard to deny his feeling for Siobhan. I love that he is getting closer to Lucy and Sean but that is throwing him off too. He is used to being a loner and all these people are messing with his head.Keeping Sean out of the loop is a major slip, but Sean is off his game too.
Kane knows that Dante and Liam are both conniving and he never should have trusted Dante. Dante and Liam were very close and most friendships like that don't end. They may have had a falling out, but Kane should have thought of the possibility that they had made a mends. I agree that he should have told Sean when he gave him the bonds.
