This sounds interesting to me, although I am not on FB a lot. But I can work around that and be on more if FB works for others.I am a romance-suspense writer/author and love to read romance novels in any sub-genre.

Hi Josie, I'm very excited to hear that there are other writers interesed in this, because this is exactly what I've been looking for. I have a completed romance MS and would be happy swap with another writer (and put the time in to share thoughts/impressions/feedback on other's work). I like how you described the group. Please count me in!
Hi Dana, Laura and LeshaHow good to hear from you. That makes a group of five so far, which sounds like a good working number to me.
I'm happy to avoid FB Dana, that's no problem. Would a good next step be if you emailed me, then I can group us all together somehow?

I would be interested in this group. I am a slow writer but a fast reader and like romances of all types. If you have room for another person, you can add me.

josielynnauthor@btinternet.com I will send a group email today (that's today UK time).
Hi Noelle, if everyone who has expressed an interest so far goes ahead, that would take us to 7 including yourself, so I think you might have to be our last one, so it's manageable. Would you like to send me your email, I'm sending a group one later this evening.josielynnauthor@btinternet.com
Hi Josie,I'd love to join the group as well if you have room. I'm a quick reader with experience in copyediting.
Best,
Linnea
I’d be happy to join as a beta reader. My preferred genres are contemporary romance, erotic romance and erotica. I am comfortable with all levels of heat and kink!
Susan (and everyone else), I need a beta reader. My book is titled "Reasonable Accommodations." It is contemporary romance. erotic romance and erotica. Written in first person POV by husband and wife. What should words, like marriage, fidelity, beauty, confidence, and sex, mean to me? Especially when my marriage has been loving, passionate, and faithful for some 30 years? Would I become a "swinger" if it could save my marriage?
Would you?
I'm Nataša Volenta-O'Dell. My husband is Jamie O'Dell. Five years after we married, he passed the bar. One year later, he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Twenty years, paralysis, two kids, and a floundering career later, he became depressed. He had not fallen out of love. He had fallen out of our relationship.
We were both undergoing 50 years of age. I began menopause. Atypically my libido increased. Life led me to an intense, intellectual, and artistic self-reflection, my renaissance. Now, I saw my beauty, and I wanted sex. But the renaissance also let me realize that my relationship with Jamie and my own life had become stagnant.
One day I looked at him and said THOSE words, "We have to talk."
A few days after our talk, we opened our marriage. We each discovered hidden personalities. Nataša became "Nasty." Jamie 1.0 became Jamie 2.0.
What happens when my first partner is a billionaire?
Welcome to our "Reasonable Accommodations."
The MS is 98K words.
Kay I’d be happy to read for you. I prefer to work in MS Word. You can send the ms to: Susan.scovell@gmail.com

The group would be for romance writers who are looking for beta-reader feedback from romance readers/writers, and therefore know and are fans of the genre.
Submission would be when you are ready, we’d notify each other, say on Facebook or whatever works for members of the group. We would submit the whole MS that we want beta-read.
There would be no costs involved other than time. There would be a gentleman’s agreement to honestly and respectfully beta read and provide feedback in a timely way for other people’s submissions even if you are not at a submission point yourself.
Anyone interested?
