In present-day society, an elite school, the Academy of the Dark Ones lurks in the shadows, unbeknownst to the world. Those who run this school search for those whose souls have high aptitudes for evil. That is why you have received a letter of summons. Here at the academy, we wish to harness that evil and help you become the dark one you are destined to become.

However, that does not mean this school accepts and keeps anyone and everyone. Those who fail to meet the requirements expected of them are eliminated. The eliminated are sent away from the academy with a new identity. Along with their old identity, so goes their memories. With no way to get these memories back, they must live with their new identity. It may seem cruel, however, it's the best method of keeping the academy a secret. Believe it or not, keeping the school a secret from the outer world is for the safety of everyone.

While we will be training you to become dark ones and honing those dark souls, there is one threat that we must warn all of our students of. These are the rebels. These rebels call themselves heroes, or in some other cases, the saviors. These so-called heroes and saviors are nothing more than a nuisance. However, like the dark ones, it seems they too are bringing up a new generation and are bringing up the new heroes. filling their heads with petty nonsense of justice. Beware of them, and watch your backs. Luckily for us, there aren't many of them. If you encounter one, report back to the heads. because while we know there aren't many, we don't know how many there are exactly. do not try to handle it on your own.
