This book was so good. I loved how it switched between her personal life and the present time in the room. The ending was so creative and I totally wasn’t expecting it :o
Yeah, it was an amazing book. The chapters featuring her past made me better understand what was happening and what the characters were talking about in the present.
I really enjoyed reading the book and trying to figure out what was going to happen next. The way the book was narrated made me constantly trying to solve who put them in the room. I also enjoyed the perspective of her life and the past year because it really helped make sense of everything and wrap the whole story up. The end had a unexpected twist and it made the book even better.
It’s disturbing to me how skillfully Diana Urban creates a really nasty mean girl in the form of Sasha Harris. She had me remembering every mean girl Ive ever met.
Just got hold of this book and can't wait to begin reading. Going by the comments so far, it seems that it will be an enjoyable read. :)
I wasn’t impressed by this book. It reminded me of a book by Chuck Palahnuik. I had figured out who did it well before the end. The ending to me seemed weak. I really wanted more. It wasn’t bad but it isn’t something I would necessarily recommend. It was really mediocre. I like the back and forth in time and the voice seemed mostly realistic.
I don't read many mystery novels, so I didn't figure out who had done it. I think because of that, I enjoyed the book more. My only complaints are that you don't bleed out so quickly from that type of wound. And I would have liked to know what punishment the culpret received for setting up the whole thing.
