Kane captured and interrogates Angelo Zapelli after he is released by the US on a technicality. He allows him to live after getting the information he needed, only because Siobhan asked that of him. Did he do the right thing?

He did the right thing even though Angelo betrayed them. Kane needs to pull back from his vigilante ways.

[Anita]

I agreed with Siobhan, I didn't want Kane to loose another piece of his soul over murdering Angelo. Kane knew he was going to continue to be trouble, but he had promised Siobhan.

[Robin]

He did the right thing by not killing him. Unfortunately, Zapelli didn't heed his warning and stay out of trouble. I'm surprised that Zapelli didn't have the Mexican police looking for him. Kane could have tipped them off to his whereabouts.

I was glad he spared him for all the reasons you all state but knew it would come back and bite him.

[Melissa]

No. Angelo should have been taken care of. People like that don't change and I knew we would see him again. Kane knew it too. It was nice to see Kane not kill him because Siobhan asked him not to.
