Tucker Anthony | 1 comments Hello All!

Avid reader here! I’m super excited to hope on Goodreads and review your work! If you want a review let me know and I’ll read your book within a day or two and give you an honest review! If you really want some buzz I can also record my review and put it on Instagram and TikTok as well!!

I am an English major as well so if you want an analysis for your book I would love to do that as well! I read just about all genres. Lately I have been reading YA fantasy and romance, mysteries, horror and the occasional dark romance so hit with whatever you got!

I prefer physical copies just because I can take them with me when I don’t have WiFi but digital is still fine, it’s your book after all. So feel free to send anything you got my way.

message 9: by Acton (new)

Acton Manning (acton-manning) | 6 comments I have a mystery for you. Unique twists: San Francisco PD's Detective Dan Winters works in suicide, not homicide. And a central motif in the Daniel Winters series is wine. Here's a blurb:

An unusual suicide fails to raise alarm bells for most of San Francisco Police Department’s suicide squad. Only Detective Daniel Winters believes the coroner's ruling is wrong: Amanda Turner, he's convinced, did not end her own life.

Dan has a nose for the unusual and something about the crime scene is leaving him unsettled. Is it possible that each one of a sudden spate of apparent suicides is connected? That the bizarre scenes have been staged to look like death was self-inflicted? That each death has been carefully paired with a--wait for it--fine vintage?

Or is that just too weird? Is it more likely that Magic Man, as Chief calls Dan, has finally lost it, as Chief suspects? That this former-aspiring-sommelier turned star-suicide-detective is still so deeply distraught over the unsettling death of his wife two years ago that he's no longer of sober mind?

Let me know if you'd like an ARC!

Lorelai Grant | 8 comments Hi, Tucker, would you be interested in reading and reviewing my 63,000 word romance/romcom? Here's the blurb:

*****
JULIE ADAMS IS A CATCH who’s afraid of being caught.
She has firm boundaries about dating. No cheaters–she grew up with faithless parents–and no ex-boyfriends or ex-husbands of her friends. But what about Jay Alva, handsome widower of her treasured friend, Maureen?
Jay is a devoted son and son-in-law, while Julie has moved as far away from her swinging parents as she can without swimming out to sea.
Jay's awkward pursuit makes Julie think he needs a therapist to help him get over Maureen. But while the pandemic keeps them apart, Jay hooks Julie's interest with texts and phone calls and reels her in, ever closer, with persistence and charm.
Jay seems to want a new beginning, but what if Maureen was the love of his life? If Julie wants to be with him, she’ll have to see the promise beyond the risk and let him reel in her heart.
*****
[No graphic sex in this novel.]
I would like reviews posted on Amazon on launch day, June 1, 2022, if possible.

B.C. Taylor (bctaylor) | 7 comments Hi Tucker!

My debut YA fantasy novel releases on 9/27/22. THE LOST WITCH is the first book in a 5-book series: HAYDEN BLACK AND THE SALEM WITCH TRIALS.

The Lost Witch (Hayden Black and the Salem Witch Trials, #1) by B.C. Taylor

I've pasted the blurb below, so if you're interested, let me know by responding or emailing me at authorBCtaylor@gmail.com and I'll send you the BookFunnel link. Thank you!!

Five deadly Trials. An ancient, sinister evil.

One lost witch with the power to save the world.

Welcome to Asylum.

Twelve-year-old Hayden Black has never been normal, that much she knew, but when her father is abducted by demons, she learns just how remarkable she truly is. Not only is she a witch, but Heaven’s angels have chosen her as the next Salem Witch, destined to protect the world from evil… if she can survive the deadly Salem Witch Trials first.

Now Hayden must traverse the magical world of Asylum and learn to use her powers. If she doesn’t master all five elements — air, fire, water, earth, and Spirit — before her seventeenth birthday, she forfeits her life.

Hayden might have started her journey orphaned and alone, but it doesn’t take her long to forge new friendships and attract new enemies. Hayden thought her only nemesis was the residential bully, but her greatest enemy, a terrible evil lurking in the shadows, has yet to reveal itself.

Will Hayden master her air magic in time to save her friends and find her father? Or will she perish alongside them?

The Lost Witch is the first book in an urban fantasy series intended for readers ages ten and above who love Percy Jackson and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Shonel Jackson | 8 comments Hi. I have pdf, mobi and epub copies of Book 2 (ARC) of my Martial Arts Contemporary Romance series
Can be read as stand-alone. If you'd like to check out book 1 also, let me know.

Playing With Fire (Era Capoeira, Book 2) - Released 5th December)
Plot:
In Playing With Fire, Book 2 of the martial arts series, Era Capoeira, we meet Javier Martínez and Luna Michaels. Their story begins with a one night stand. The connection between them is instantaneous. One look into her golden-brown eyes and Javier is hooked. The problem was that he had no business being attracted to Luna or any other woman for that matter, right now. His trip to London was supposed to be a short one. Javier’s life at home in Spain and the past he was still dealing with, ensured that he would stick to that plan.

Luna had been to many of the Capoeira workshops at the school she’d been a part of for years. They were the highlight of the season and she always looked forward to them. This year, however, she meets one particular invitee, who she simply cannot resist, nor does she want to.

When their one night of passion comes to an end, Javier walks away from it feeling guilt-ridden, and Luna, with a little surprise.
