#1 World cat (our preferred source for checking page counts) has this edition as 272 pages. Can you tell me what (if anything is on pages 270-272 of your copy? Some things we count and some things we don't.

#2 World Cat only appears to have the ebook for this one. Amazon does have your edition with your page count. Could you just confirm for me that this page count doesn't include advertising material. an extract from another book or blank pages right at the end & I'll be happy to add this for you.

Page 270 is blank, page 271 is advertising material and page 272 is blank again

thanks for your reply. I have changed both descriptions. into German (the first from Amazon, the second from the publisher)

In future, if your book has the description in the wrong language as well as needing a page count, it might be better to post in Book Issues.

Librarians who do page counts are usually new librarians or librarians without much free time & that might be why your request was missed. :)
