Is it that they teach how racism affects life, government, laws, etc. in schools? /g
Proposing such an absurd idea to be taught to CHILDREN is not a good idea. This is the stuff authoritarian governments do. Perhaps its better if the children lived their lives without thinking of CRT and just be normal kids without any thought of race, which would disable them from making that much hurtful and racist comments to others.
I think CRT should be taught in only collages but even then it should be treated as it just is, a theory. People need to take a grain of salt before reading stuff like that.
The whole idea of CRT and about america being created on because of racist ideals is weird enough. In fact, the first immigrants in the Mayflower Voyage were persecuted for their Judeo-Christian Beliefs, and for most of America’s existence it was pretty much the shining pillar of true democracy. (Not saying i support democracy or racism, i know it exists, im an asian myself, from a country that has been ravaged by the US and other foreign powers, but putting racism is the only reason for other peoples suffering is a bit insane.)
Sure, the americans did do big bads, but that wasn’t all they’ve done. And it especially was not built from these disgusting pillars.
And plus, teaching such a theory is going to affect the new generation’s opinion of america, from patriotic and brave to traitorous and cowardly. CRT in a way thrashes the moral foundations and the real truth on how america was formed.
People immigrated to america for a new life, if CRT was true no one would be going to the so-called most racist nation.

Critical race theory (CRT) is a framework of analysis grounded in critical theory, and an academic movement of civil-rights scholars and activists who seek to examine the intersection of race and law in the United States and to challenge mainstream American liberal approaches to racial justice.

And, if you're trying to say that America isn't racist because the first Europeans to come here were persecuted for their religious beliefs, that is not an argument. People came here, stole the land from the people who had been living here for centuries, killed most of them and put the rest into tiny reservations and then imported African people to be their property. The whole reason America has the financial and global power that we have is because we profited off the backs of enslaved people. And when the slaves were freed, did we help them, give them homes and jobs and education? No, we let them experience discrimination, segregation, lynching, poverty, and much more. And the effects of that still exist today, which is why Black Americans are overall poorer, why the majority of Black children grow up in single parent households and Black boys have a 1 in 3 chance of being incarcerated in their lifetimes, why Black people are disproportionately murdered by police, why they are underrepresented in high paying jobs, and so much more. Just because we don't see it doesn't mean it isn't all there. And kids need to be taught about this stuff, especially white kids. I'm not saying we need to teach them that they are all terrible people because of their race but if we don't teach them that racism exists, and actively make sure they don't grow up with the same biases we all have, all this racism is going to continue to plague our democracy.

Critical race theory, however, from what I've heard of it, teaches that there can be no "reverse racism" and that white people are inherently racist

Alright, but shouldn't we teach children about the world? And the fact is, the Barbary slave trade? Aimed solely at white people. What's going on in South Africa? White families are tortured and slaughtered simply for being white. That's also racism. Racism is simply believing your race is better than the others, and yes, black Americans can also be racist. I've heard a lot of them say on social media that "white people are closer to monkeys" "we should kill all white people" "white people are stupid". That's racism. I'm not saying black people don't suffer under racism, but worldwide, lots of white people do as well through no fault of their own
