Max helped Chuck Pence find Scott’s body. Art had left him at the campground as a prank and he was gone when they returned the next day. They failed to inform anyone he was missing. Art also rammed Max’s car but couldn’t prove it. They got off with probation but were the impetus for Max agreeing to do the show. (hide spoiler)]

I just finished. I liked this start to a new series. I love Maxine. I'm glad that this one came along after Nikki Gillette. As much as I disliked Nikki, I love Max. She fights for her story for the people not self aggrandizement.

Looking forward to reading Notorious.
