I started today! I don't have a ton of thoughts, just the music at the beginning of the audiobook slaps so hard and I really like Felix's narration.
I am already a couple pages behind because of the England football match last night but I'm loving it so far. Feels like it's going to be really profound.
Starting now!!! I might finish early since I am going out of town this weekend. Will post with spoilers hidden if I do.
I am way behind (blaming it on work being chaos) but have read up to chapter 8 I think. I agree they are forgiving way too quickly! I work with teens and man can they hold a grudge (I was/still am very very good at this also)
They aren't being very specific either just "he hurt me so he's an asshole" - okay but what did he do???? guess we'll find out at some point (or at least I hope we do because it feels weird without knowing like i'll join you in hating them if you give me a good reason)
Yes finished a few days ago. The ending was too perfect and wrapped up with a bow It was also predictable as mentioned by you guys. I did enjoy the book and opened my eyes to things I do t understand.
oof I forgot I was doing this buddy read!!! I'm currently in the middle of moving but I'm going to try to chip away at it during little breaks :)
okay so I finished this and yes, it was predictable but in a comforting way! I also feel like the issue with forgiving so easily is that it doesn't always happen. Like Felix is sometimes incredibly emotionally mature and handles conflict with grace, and other times he acts like a teenager. It felt like it was all for plot convenience and that irritated me a little bit. Overall I did really like it though!
