Janine, do you have a favorite story (or two or three) from the collection?

Do I have a fave?
Hmm.
Yes, my absolute fave is THEY which was first featured in Glenn Rolfe's Alien Agenda Publishing sampler for 2020 and people *may* know that I adore Glenn so that was huge. It is also just a very me story, set in the 80s with kids and a UK version of a storm drain ...

I also really like FOOTSTEPS which is the first in the collection and has been nominated for a Splatterpunk Award which is mind-blowing ... when I wrote it, it never even occurred to me that menstruation in a plot could be construed as extreme, it was just an integral part of the narrative.

And also, I really enjoyed writing PARADISE CITY. It is my most polarizing story for sure, but it was always meant to just be a bit of fun with a dash of bodily fluid for good measure.
