Here are my chapter 13 theories
(view spoiler)[If we can say something about Locke is that he's really perseverant. I don"t think he stops the Lukas affair, as it is an easy resource for money at this moment.

I think that maybe he will somehow put a trap for the Gray King... On the duke's party :o
And now that we know that Raza sens coin to the plague boat, I think that maybe he's paying beforehand to reclute soldiers on another country and then take the whole city? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I was SHOCKED when most of our little gang died so quickly. I wasn't exactly surprised that Locke was betrayed by this Gray King dude but I was unhappy about it. I just KNOW Locke is going to rain vengeance down on him so hard, he won't know what hit him! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 13

Chapter 15
(view spoiler)[ It was fun when Locke wanted to go to the party and the others asked him if he ws sure and he replied "what can go wrong?" WELL a lot of things haha

I loved when Locke punched Doña Vorchenza, I didn't expect that at all (the woman neither)... And then he ran away and jumped to an elevator. It was a funny part hahaha .Locke has a lot of surprises with him and even on the end of the book one can't know what he will do.

Also... What do you think there's inside the pyramids? Venomous animals? Soldiers? Hmm
And asddsggdghr I HOPE Jean would be okay after the next chapter because duh I love him a lot. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[It was a nice story and I'm so glad Jean isn't dead~ I'm curious about what they will do next and if the Bondsmagi will follow them to torture them or something or not.
At the end I was thinking a lot about revenge -because that's all we got there: revenge. The Capa Raza could have accomplished it and lived if he didn't kill Locke's brothers. But the Capa was an ass so well, f*ck him hahaha (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 14 & Interlude (The Daughters of Camorr)
(view spoiler)[So it was trap for Jean although they didn't know it was Jean - I'm glad that he was able to kill them both before they could really tell anyone else (unless someone was watching them).
I really hope Locke doesn't fall into the trap with the don at the festival!
What the heck is Capa Raza planning?! And what is this grudge against the old Capa? I know the statues can't be as simple as being statues - there's a trick there somehow. Locke may be walking into that mess also - definitely worried for our little gang! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 15 & Interlude (The Throne in Ashes)
(view spoiler)[I know I've probably said this many times but things are getting intense! The Capa recognized Locke. Locke was stabbed in the neck by the Spider. There are those weird statues that are probably going to do SOMETHING. I can't believe he punched her. lol How the heck did the Falconer know to go there?!
I wonder if these later interludes are setting up some possibilities for the rest of the series. (hide spoiler)]

re. finished (view spoiler)[ hahaha yeah we definitely did get a lot of revenge, everyone seemed to have it out for Locke by the end there, but he got away and he got all his revenge and vengeance for poor Calo, Galdo, Bug and Sazca! the end was pretty intense there, but i did enjoy it all, and Scott Lynch is an absolute genius for all of these heists and swindles that he thought up. it'll definitely be interesting to see if the Bondsmagi and all that try to come after Locke! (hide spoiler)]

ooo yes that's so smart, the interludes could definitely be setting up some possibilities for the rest of the series! they seem very random, but i'm sure there's a reason for them all.
