Army of the Dead is about a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas. A group of mercenaries accept a deal to conduct a heist by venturing into the quarantine zone. The plot is generic and has a bunch of plot holes. Although it was a decent concept, it was executed poorly. The characters were terrible and it was hard to get attached to any of them.
The main character's daughter is probably the most selfish and unlikable character in the film. All she did throughout the movie was make things more complicated and made bad decisions. The deaths that occur seem meaningless and annoying, especially when none of the characters likable, in my opinion. The whole movie had bad writing and terrible dialogue, which really makes me question why I sat through this movie in full at all. Although Army of the Dead looks like an interesting watch from the outside, it's really a waste of 2 hours and 28 minutes of your life. I rate this a 1/5.
