I justed started Fultz's Worlds Beyond Worlds.

I'm going to read The Infernal Bargain and Other Stories, which is free from the DMR Books website if you register for their newsletter.

Recently I read The Eye of Sounno, also from DMR Books, and I enjoyed it a lot. I'm definitely interested in delving into their offerings further.

Looking at everyone's choices....DMR really has a nice line-up.

I'm three stories (of the 11) into Fultz' Worlds Beyond Worlds: The Short Fiction of John R. Fultz.

This is a neat mix of (a) Dunsanian weird world-building/narrative with (b) urgen paced action. Refreshing S&S.

Just finished Prehistoric Adventures. The story Dinosaur Destroyer was my favorite and well worth the price of admission.

For those who are Howard fans, his story Spear and Fang also appears in this anthology. I don't think I own that one in any other book.

Agreed. I am grateful for DMR. Just wrapped up Fultz's Worlds Beyond Worlds: The Short Fiction of John R. Fultz....it was fantastic. I'll need a week or two to get a review together, but like most already know, he writes weirder S&S, with a slant toward sorcery over swords. His narrative style leans toward CAS's than REH's adventure (I adore both). Great collection of 11 stories full of revnants, spirits, and loads of weird events/worlds (as the title implies).

I finished reading The Infernal Bargain, reviewed here.

It's a mixed bag, like most collections of this type, but it offers a pretty good overview of what DMR offers. It felt kind of odd to have Weird Tales stories from the 1930s included alongside work by modern writers, though. The classic stories feel pretty stilted compared to modern prose, and I might have enjoyed them more if they were in a separate vintage S&S collection.
