Bopeep (bopip) | 1088 comments Hello!

I've read the first half and it's so cute! I love the illustrations <3 They feel like I'm in Faerieland <3

First of all I love the first chapter, where it seems Cardan is Jude's guardian or so. It's nice to see them now that they both know and accept the feelings for each other.
The story about the stoneheart was... bittersweet both times. :( I guess we will have another one? I understand that Cardan hates them hahaha

And I loved how Cardan and Nicasia met hahaha I don't dislike Nicasia, so it's nice to see her again. :D

What do you think about the characters? Do you have a favorite?

Katie (love---katie) | 576 comments I finished it this morning (while playing a card game online. Multitasking ftw!)

I listened to the audiobook so I missed out on all the illustrations, but that is also how I've read all the books in this series. I do have physical copies and will probably do a reread soon reading the actual books. I love the stoneheart story! It's such a great metaphor for Cardan.

I actually HATED Nicasia for the majority of the original trilogy, but she sort of grew on me in the final book. Locke was as much of a womanizing jerk as always.

But really, Jude and Cardan have my heart. Cardan has been such a beautifully complex character from the first time he stepped foot on the page, and I think they work so well together! It was lovely to see his point of view on a lot of their interactions in earlier books--and to see them now that the hard part of their story is over! I don't really get into shipping characters very often because it feels like a lot of energy to invest in fictional characters, but I would do absolutely anything to see more of Jude and Cardan.

Maybe a WandaVision style tv show detailing their life together? lol :D

Bopeep (bopip) | 1088 comments Finished it too! Oh, it's worth reading the book, the illustrations are fluid and organic and it seems a fae has drawn it ^^

Yeah, Nicasia was better on the third book. Maybe the one of the quartet I hated the most at first was Cardan haha And then, ofc, Locke. He was a jerk with everybody, friend, lover or enemy.

I do love to see how Cardan really cares about Jude, being his guardian so she doesn't run into more problems. I don't think he will accomplish it though haha Shipping Cardan and Jude is worth the wasted time, I think!

Ooooh that would be amazing. I usually don't watch series, but I would make an effort to see them lol
