Did anyone else notice the number of pages used to detail the love scenes?
Yes but this is Shayla Black and Lexi Blake. They write BDSM, menage, and romance. They are masters of love scenes.
I liked this one much better than the first two. I expected to love Connor's story and didn't. I was worried that Dax was going to let me down too.

This was my favorite of all three. Really enjoyed everything about this story.

Dax and Holland were a sweeter couple than the previous two. They both had their issues, but I enjoyed their relationship. That said, the sex scenes were overly long and a bit mechanical. I didn't feel the intimacy between them as much as with Gabe and Everly and Connor and Lara. The ongoing story arc is really what is keeping me going with this series. I must find out the truth!

This book is my favorite so far. I really loved this couple. And the different scenarios coming clear with each book is great. I knew there would be a lot of sex scenes since I've read a lot by both of these authors. I cannot wait for Roman/Gus' story. She is my favorite character in this series so far.
Are we giving up on Mad returning from the dead? I would love for him to still be alive. Roman was in love with Zach's wife, but always had a thing for Gus. It will be interesting to see how that plot plays out.
I'm not giving up on Mad returning from the dead. I'll be a little disappointed if he doesn't.
I'd be disappointed too if Mad is really gone.
