We meet Gus, Dax’s sister for the first time. She’s a free spirit who appears to have had lots of experience with The Perfect Gentlemen. What say you about her? Can you see her with Roman?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3484 comments I like her. She is feisty and lives her life without apology. I think she will hold her own with Roman.

I agree with Sharon, but in addition, I kind of looked at her as a female version of The Perfect Gentlemen.

Good point Lynn.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments She is not my favorite type of person, but she should be able to hold her own with Roman for sure.

Lynn, that’s a great point! I’m not crazy about her having slept with so many of them but admire her free spirit and attitude that she’s no different from them in terms of sexual behavior.

I also like that she never gave up on Holland, not buying what she did to Dax. Compare that friendship to the turncoat Courtney.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1811 comments I also like her. She is intelligent and feisty. I think it is a double standard to judge her on her sexual history. As Lynn says, she is a female version of the PGs and her life choices are her own.

With regard to her relationships with the PGs, my understanding is that the only two she was connected to sexually are Maddox and Roman. According to the book, she viewed Gabe as too lean so I understood that to indicate she did not sleep with him. Am I wrong?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3484 comments I didn't think she slept with all the PGs either.

She definitely did not sleep with Connor or Zack (and obviously not Dax). The question is whether she did with Gabe, but I don't think so.

Let’s just go with it was just Roman and Maddox. That’s better.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments I loved her! If she was a man, we wouldn't think anything of it. She is definitely her own woman. I loved how she didn't turn her back on Holland.

Karen, the fact that Gus continue to try to contact Holland when everyone else turned their backs, makes me think she is better than the whole group put together.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I think she instinctively knew there was a deeper reason to the breakup of Dax and Holland. Gus sent Gemma undercover with Holland at NCIS quite awhile before Dax came back. Gus has been working the conspiracy for several years.

I agree, Sharon!

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1811 comments I couldn't agree more with the comments about Gus. I have a feeling she is going to be my favorite heroine in the series.
