What is the dumbest thing you have believed as a child?

There used be a small attic for storage in my maternal grandma’s house and my older sister made me believe that there is a monster living there and it comes down every night,
….and I believed her, didn’t even check because I was too scared.

Another one was about a tree in the backyard which had a hole with a squirrel living in it. My older sister told me that the squirrels have a meeting there everyday where they are planning to take over the entire village and we don’t have much time left.
….I believed that also.

The conclusion is I was way too dumb and my sister is way too mean. In my defense, I was very young.
