Email sent to Rakuten Kobo after a long chat session in March 2121:
I've attached two files. The first is a list of all the ebooks on my account which are missing content and cannot be downloaded to any device that I own. These include an android cell phone, a Windows 10 desktop and a Kindle Fire HD.
While I understand there are "compatibility issues" according to your support staff, this is not a Kindle specific issue. Some of these ebooks are pretty old because I was an original customer and transitioned my account according to instructions given before you became Rakuten Kobo. Others are newer, but all of them defy download.
My first choice is to resolve any issues and maintain these books as part of my library. However, I would be willing to accept a credit toward other books instead. I fully intend to post this issue to Goodreads and my social media accounts along with the chat transcript.
