What have you been playing: before the forum was deleted?
Yeah I'm replaying on easy from the start to avoid it becoming a chore/struggle.
I'd planned on maybe playing a few hours of the Zero Dawn Remaster then leaving it and finishing it on the Pro...but think i might stick with it and maybe just leave the dlc for that (or whatever I've left). It's surprisingly scratching an itch. Didn't think I was much of a graphics haw, but the new coat of paint has my attention for the moment
Kinda has me wanting to replay Far Cry Primal though
Also noticed God of Bore (aka War) doesn't seem to be on the Pro enhanced list....I smell another pointless/completely original, never been done before.....remaster...
The 2018 God of War is a PS4 game so presumably wouldn't have a PS5 Pro enhancement. Unless you mean Ragnarok? Apparently that has had an update.I think the 2018 God of War is ripe for a remaster though. It meets all the Sony criteria for making one.
The game still looks great anyway

I’m also doing a mega download of Pro games ready for Thursday. So I’m currently downloading Starwars Jedi Survivor, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Alan Wake 2, TLOU pt 1 remastered and Miles Morales. Put them on the storage expansion so I can move it across to the Pro console. I see AC Mirage has been added to Pro patched list too. Of these most are just to see the Pro improvements rather than to replay them but the DLC of Alan Wake 2 and Frozen Wilds I’ll play.
I’ve just got £200 of ps store vouchers for my birthday so I’ll get Star Wars Outlaws but not sure what else to get. Spider-Man 2 is tempting but surely it’ll be on ps plus extra soon. I’ll wait till Black Friday before I buy anything or even the new years sales.
That's something I'd have forgotten all about. Day one could be not a lot of fun waiting for downloads going digital only.
And didn't realise GoW Robnarock was getting an upgrade.And one last thing about the Zero Dawn Remaster - visually, it's probably what you wanted/expected from this gen but rarely got. £70 for the Until Dawn remaster would be a ripoff at the best of times when it's locked at 30 fps, but it's even worse when you look at what is possible on current tech.
OK it's probably less the framerate and more resolution in Until Dawn but that was one they should've done the £10 if you already own thing
Got as far as the Carja lands in HZD, and think I will leave the rest until the Pro...unless I can't find anything else to keep me going

So I had a brief play of all the games I downloaded yesterday in readiness for my Pro and I have to say for the Sony exclusive games I downloaded it’s hard to imagine them looking better. I also had a very quick go of Jedi Survivor for the first time since soon after launch and they’ve definitely improved the resolution and performance in performance mode. It was really bad on launch graphics wise. Still room for improvement though.
Mornibg allI spent quite a bit of time on the Remnant 2 DLC this weekend. Unfortunately, a good chunk of this time was wasted. For the last trophy I need to collect 9 specific items and loads of consumable alloys. The consumable alloys stick with you no matter what but the specific items disappear from your inventory if you reroll adventure mode. I'd collected quite a few before losing them and realising this happened.
I think I'll keep chipping away at this trophy when I can't think of other things to play. Its a grind and quite RNG based in that you need to roll certain maps in adventure mode.
I changed my mind (shock!). Gonna try and get as many of the collectables type trophies in HZD

im midthrough ME 2 LE and no one can convince me its better than ME1.
The whole game so far has been recruiting member for the final mission. No sign of the Collectors apart from one mission.
Btw, does anyone here still talk with Adam the Master Haw?
We´ve been sending messages through PS for many years but after not hearing from him for some months, i noticed last week we´re not friends anymore and, despite seeing him online often, he´s not replying to any messages i send him.
I also noticed that all his trophies are now hidden which is strange.
Does anyone know anything from him?

Me and Adam been nagging each other to buy games on weekly basis for a long time. That´s why im a bit worried.
We also constantly share screenshots of dat personalities rears in games. Probably he got married and she saw it and he lost the right to use his account. lol

Getting near the end of Zero Dawn again now. Mostly enjoyed replaying it, but had quite a few game crashes in the later hours, mostly fast travel related. I reckon an hour or two more will be enough for the plat, then I'll give the dlc a go when the Pro arrives

Yeah, I expect mine to arrive late tomorrow evening, when I'm too tired to do anything with it. I've had deliveries before that they've apparently thought my bin was as safe a place as any to deliver things to, so I'm hoping they don't do that this time

Yeah, 37 hours played in less than a week could possibly be considered excessive ;) It's shorter than I remember, possibly down to skipping most of the conversations and fluking most of the proving ground trials first time
37 hours is good. I'd got 50 - 60 hours in mind.I'm also comparing you to my own completion times which are shocking these days.
I've just had a look through the new PS Store sale. The base version of WRC Generations is tempting me once again and there's a Super Woden GP bundle including both games.

Im a Sporting supporter and these have been the best 4 or 5 years that i can remember.
Not only he´s a great coach with great results but he´s also a great person. You couldnt have chose better, imo.
BUT...........you could have waited till the end of this season to take him. :(

Yeah, with R it's probably understandable..I mean being a Man Utd supporter, he's seconds away from donning a straightjacket at any given moment anyway. But buying a Pro...I should have more sense ;)
Played about an hour of Metro Awakening and it's got off to a decent start, though could do with a few more bullets

I just hope Man Utd doesn't ruin his career as nearly every other player or coach that comes to Man Utd since Sir Alex has seen them fail miserably. I live in hope though.

Otherwise the console is a good deal smaller than the original PS5 - an acceptable size now. It's runs quiet enough but I can hear the fan - though little different to my old PS5. And otherwise it looks the same on the UI except for a PS5 Pro background on the welcome screen which is nice.
I reckon my Pro has either been lost over the Irish Sea or its being delivered by canoe.

Mine was delivered by DPD and they sent me tracking so had an hour delivery slot.
Yeah, im just being impatient. It's DPD for me as well, but the tracking is basically saying it left England but hasn't made it to NI yet, so no delivery slot yet anyway. Assumed that would be the case anyway. so wasn't betting on getting any gaming on it today
Just saw that Death Stranding got a surprise release on Xbox for $20 so I will be picking that up for this weekend.

Maybe that's what's holding up my PS5 Pro delivery - his boots are worn out and he's resorted to using plants wherever he can find them.Death Stranding was great but nowhere near as weird as it was made out to be initially

Think R must have put a curse on me when he said DPD are one of the decent delivery companies. Still no idea if it's being delivered today or not, estimated delivery of 7th is all I get

I quit Death Stranding because of the most stupid reason.
I started playing for a couple of hours and stopped when i went on summer vacations. When i got back i completely forgot about the "hold breath" mechanic. So, everytime i encountered those BT´s the game turned into a complete mess. I lost my bike because of that and ended up rage quiting.
Only months after i remembered that i could hold my breath when sneaking enemies and make my life a lot easier...
I need to restart the game one day.
Yea Zero Dawn was OK but it got so tedious after a while I struggled to complete it - I did - but I was glad when it was done. Those last few missions were never ending enemies. Forbidden West had a much better campaign with better thought out campaign missions and less slog.
