There are no missable trophies so if I do ever feel confident enough to go for it, I can replay bits as necessary.

Not a completely bad thing with the similar-ish looking Helldivers 2 coming out in Feb.
Nice they're spread out a bit more now.
Yea I noticed that too. Better to delay than rush out a sub-par game - I'm fine with it. Reduces the pressure on my wishlist/backlog which is growing.

Bit surprised they've not added more games to the PS sale today. It's still pretty poor for both quality and quantity. Not too bothered as I've plenty to be getting on with but might pick up a few PSVR2 games for over xmas

It does look a good game though.

Also briefly played Evil West and seems solid. Even on performance mode, it's not exactly buttery smooth, but nothing overly distracting. Combat feels solid, don't think I'll fancy playing on evil difficulty for the plat though
Morning all. More AC Mirage at the weekend. Probably in the final quarter of the game now. Really enjoying it still and really like the return to the more focussed campaign. Also tried Teardown - not for me. Spent 20 minutes on it and honestly thought it was a pile of crap lol. I know it's been well received but if that's the game it's defo not for me. As I'll complete AC Mirage soon not sure what to play next - it's one of Callisto Protocol, Dead Space remake (played the original) or Alan Wake 2. I do think AW2 might get a small price cut in the christmas/new year sale so tempted to wait. And I'm pretty sure I'll get one or both of Robocop and Terminator for christmas so might push an AW2 purchase until after these two.

The sale looks worse than the Black Friday one although WRC Generations standard edition is half tempting at £14. Not sure I can face trying to find someone for the co driver trophies though.
Thanks for the heads up on the Terminator deal. £15.99 in the sale. Thing is I don’t know if it’s been bought for me as a Christmas present. What to do lol.

Hi all
Finished Conarium a couple of days ago.
Its a nice walking sim/adventure/lite puzzle game inspired by H.P. Lovecraft´s work.
It has some very awkward puzzles that left me scratching my head at times.
Like...you try to open a door, it wont open and the character says something is blocking from the other side. I try 3 times and it wont open so, acording to every gaming good practice i figure it needs sometihng and i move on.
After 10 minutes of wandering around thinkign the game bugged out cause there´s nothing left to do in the area i check a YT video and if you tried to open 5 or 6 times the door actually unblocks...i mean...where in the world is this hapening in any other game?
Overal, it was a short nice time but nothing memorable.
I give it a 6/10.

I'm still enjoying Remnant 2 and finished the second World last night. I know this will come to bite me on the backside but I'm finding the game quite easy now. I'm not sure if I've found good gear or invested wisely in traits (health etc). I killed the second World boss in one try and it wasn't by the skin of my teeth or anything, I annihilated them. It is challenging in places still but I'm doing much better than when I started.

You're absolutely right. Evil West is the old-school action game right? I'll wait on that one...

I'm hoping the December Extra games are a bit more appealing.

I think I'm going to 're-roll' the previous worlds in adventure mode and level up some more in order to upgrade my weapons as much as possible and then go back.
With levelling up and better dodging, I should be OK. Before that through it will be fun re-rolling the previous worlds to play through the second story threads as you essentially only play 50% of the game in your first play through.

I have a nice rotation right now between my old school RPG Chained Echoes, Warhammer: Darktide, and Red Dead 2.
Morning all. Finally completed Assassin's Creed Mirage over the weekend. I really enjoyed it. I enjoy the focus on stealth game play as the stealth game play loop is so satisfying. By the end of the game I was so good at stealth I could stealthily take out an entire enemy area killing dozens and dozens of enemies without ever being seen. Even a small area with several enemy I could mix it up with throwing knives, blow darts, sneaking in quick succession clearing them all in seconds. The story was ok, nothing special, but serviced the game well enough. My only complaint is the combat (when stealth goes wrong) is a little clunky and towards the end of the game there seemed to be a frame-rate issue - which was helped by enabling VRR. In the end a solid 8/10 on the r-score-o-meter. Not sure what I'm playing next and I think I'll leave my next game to christmas - see what Santa brings me. I'm also still plugging away on MW2 multiplayer - I'm slowly getting better after a very ropey period and I'm even sniping pretty effectively which I've never done before in any COD so that's mixing it up for me.

I didn't have too much time to game over the weekend but did make some more progress on Remnant 2. I replayed the first world through on the alternative story line and made a start on the second world too. I've managed to gain enough resource to complete the final upgrades on my guns so I'm toying with the idea of heading back into my campaign mode game and retrying the final boss. No harm in levelling up a bit more in adventure mode though I suppose.

Looks like an easy plat too ;-). Not that I'm going for the plat.
One other thing is the map is very small compared to the three AC games before it but for me that's no bad thing.

I enjoyed Origins - not too big and I completed it within 30 hours. I skipped Odyessy. Valhalla was way too bloated and even after 30 hours of mainlining the campaign I wasn't even remotely half way through the campaign. Mirage reminds me more of AC2. However, yes the combat as Deckard says can be frustrating. Parrying etc is fine it's just dodge roll where you get stuck in the middle of a crowd of enemies or a wall - and it feels like you're pressing the dodge button but nothing happens. Stealth is a real pleasure though. Combat can be mostly avoided if you're good at stealth.
I completed Mirage main campaign in 15 hours. So defo not bloated. 100% absolutely everything to get the plat I expect would take me another 5-10 hours-ish.

lol yes! that would be the most sensible! I guess I have an OCD..."
If you keep the PS5 version 'in home' and you make sure the PS4 version is not 'in home' (keep it off) then once you've fired up enough other games at least the PS4 version will slip off the homescreen. In theory ;-). It might not work however with disks inserted - not something I've tried but it might work. If you leave the disk in the console that might help as I think each time you insert a disk it promotes it to be at the front of the homescreen.
