Redownloading the first game ready for playing with a mate and his mate soon.

When I say I'm not free he messages asking where I am and then when playing last night, at 11pm says he's going to farm scrap solo for 15 mins but will message me when done. I just called it a night then as I wasn't going to sit there twiddling my months that late at night. He then messages saying "Bro, where you going? You said you could play late" F*%k Off!!!

I have a feeling he's a lot younger than me and can pretty much do what he wants. One day he might have a wife, kid, a fulltime job and be romping through his 40's. What an a-hole!

Tempted to try and get back into Jedi Survivor or Stellar Blade, but doubt I'll be able to settle on either. Think I might need some short cheap and cheerful types before getting stuck into something meatier. But again, have no idea what

My PS3 still has all my save files from 2010 onwards which has come in handy of late, going back to old games I've not played for a decade or more.

Save files are bigger than I thought. It might explain why I'm running out of space (although I think FH5 and its DLC is the main culprit for that).
FBC Firebreakers has been confirmed already as a June PS+ game. The coop FPS set in the Control universe. I'm interested in it but will double check the trophy list first ;)

If I know I'm done with a game I delete the save. Simple as. I knew I was done with ps4 Days Gone, so what's the point in keeping the save....it's not taking up much room granted, but it's also just sitting there for nothing. Bit of OCD i suppose - just like to keep a tidy house.
If I know I might go back to it at some point, I keep the save. e.g. I've kept the save for AC Odyssey even though I'm essentially done with it after 108 hrs and seeing the credits roll...I will dip back at some point to hunt down the rest of the cult. Same with ps5 version of Days Gone - I want to take down the rest of the hordes. But yeah, if I know I'm never going back to it then the save goes!!

Compared to some of the grinds I've done in the past, this feel like playing My Name is Mayo.
Hopefully I don't come to regret being so flippant and the 50-60 grind is obscene. However, so far its taking me 2 and a bit games to move up each level and thats not grown any bigger as I've levelled up so fingers crossed.
Another bonus is I've found a way to boost solo so not reliant on that dudebro 2009 throwback #_SniPeZ_138# pillock.

Still unsure if I'll pick up Nightreign day one. I've read it's playable solo but not sure I'll get on with the whole time limit thing. Depending on how they've gone about it, I can't see me ever getting to the big boss in a condition I'll be happy with

Reckon my next ping will be Promise Mascot Agency. Been playing it alongside a bit of Elden Ring and it looks like a fairly easy plat. Weird wee game, not sure if it'll get a bit too repetitive towards the end.

I reached the promised land of level 60 on TR last night. I then panicked a bit because I thought the trophy for unlocking all characters/upgrades had glitched. I spent a good while looking up a solution but no other reports of a problem. I then realised I was being stupid and got it.
Looking forward to playing the SP again without the worry the worry the MP might suddenly get turned off. £1.50 from CEX well spent!

I played it on the Xbox 360 years ago and got the 1000G. Great kart racer.
Toying with the idea of trying to do it again but not sure about the online.
I might have a walk that way at lunchtime and see what happens.

Being thorough has cost me in Promise Mascot Agency, looks like I'll have to let the game run while doing little but keep an eye on it for the last trophy. Probably only an hour or two....probably less but I hate waiting.
It's another one with a weirdly/obscenely high plat rate according to the console. It's not difficult but without the net, a couple of trophies would be a chore. Then again even with the net, you can't get an answer for the thing that was holding me up, i had to sit around and see for myself, so it's baffling that's it's near 30%. That's more that a few of the Telltale games where you literally have to finish for the ping

I might have to bite the bullet and pick up Remayo at this rate ;)

Not sure what's next, but there's definitely a hawing afoot

Never a truer thing has been said Deckard ;-).
I've not been gaming much. Real world stuff has been getting in the way, in a good way. I have put an hour or two here and there into Doom The Dark Ages and on the whole enjoying it and it definitely can be as easy as you like which I guess probably doesn't sit well with true Doom fans. I'm on chapter 8 I think. The usual Doom combat is pretty good, the story I couldn't care less about, but I'm not sure the flying and mech parts (I don't remember Mech levels in earlier Doom games but I could be wrong) for me are the weakest parts. Halo does the flying much better. They're OK but in all honesty I don't think they add much - variety yea, but I'm happy with the Doom core game play. I do like the parrying and shield though - that's a really good addition. I don't like the 'parrying' when flying the mech dragon thingy.

Played some Forza Horizon 5 again and got a few more trophies out of that. I'm struggling to earn credits though which is making it feel more of a grind than it should.
I also played The Division and mopped all the collectibles on that. I thought I'd get that out of the way prior to playing in coop with a mate and his mate soon.

There's another trophy for doing all 16 main missions on hard difficulty which I assumed would need to be done in coop. However out of curiosity I thought I'd try one solo and breezed through it. I've got loads of high end gear so walked through it like a T800. I've 6/16 done now so might try and tick a few more off tonight.

Don't think it'll be one I can play in long sessions, though, for sanity's sake. So I'm thinking of getting back into The Division 2 as well, to play alongside. I'd picked up the Warlords of NY DLC ages ago but never got around to it. Might stick with it and see whether I fancy the new dlc

I finished The Division (1) missions on hard difficulty last night for the gold trophy. This may have been hard with low end gear but at end game with high end gear, it wasn't even a challenge. I didn't die once throughout the 16 missions and my health never dropped below two thirds. And to think I was going to wait for coop back up on these.
Just 4 trophies left now, all dark zone related. All easily boosted or easy as a team so fingers crossed. My coop buddies are approx half way to level 30 now so not too long to wait.

I might venture into the DZ solo tonight. I got destroyed last time but I might fair better with improved gear.

Managed to defeat the first nightlord first attempt....2nd attempt was mildly amusing as a failure. Two archers and a mage are badly balanced enough but seemed to be working quite well early on...but the other two randos seemed determined to fight a dragon we were ill equipped and ill prepared for, so died over and over.
If it was me alone, I'd have given up, thinking it's just not happening after the first few attempts. But as they were keeping at it, I thought I may as well as I'm not beating the main bosses by myself. Eventually, the dragon got bored and died of old age...
Managed it and then....failed the first night's main boss in no time at all
