The trophy list for Forza Horizon 5 has been released. There are 165 trophies including all the DLC. That should keep me busy.

Now on to....no idea. Quite like Citizen Sleeper but it's more one to play in short sessions. Have a bad feeling I'll be driving myself crazy with FF12 until something else appears
Completed Atomfall. Chose the ‘follow the telephone call man’ ending. Enjoyed it. Found it difficult to put down before completing it. There look to be quite a few endings but I’ve rolled credits and happy with the one I got. Defo worth a play. 7/10 on the r-score-o-meter. Next gonna give South of Midnight a go.
Got my blu ray drive add on for my Pro. I shouldn’t be excited to have a disc drive lol especially when they should be included. Nice to have access to disc games again and might upgrade my TLOU2 on PS4 disc to the PS5 version for a tenner.

I'd briefly considered the disc drive when I saw the price cut, but these days, I've fully bought into the laziness of the digital native ;)
Atomfall, it's definitely not cricket ;)
For £70 it will pay for itself probably with two games purchases considering how much cheaper older games on disc are compared to digital. I can add the games to my display collection too. One day these disc games could be collectors items or more likely worth nothing. I regret selling some of them back in the PS3/360 days.

I stuck The Division 2 on this morning, fully expecting to turn it off after a few minutes. Six hours later my wife made me turn it off because my tea was ready. I can see me playing this a lot over the next few weeks. In fact, I'm not sure why I stopped playing it before.

I'm glad I put that on. I kept rattling through the remaining trophies, even getting a dark zone one (PvP) legitimately. My friend helped me boost the last one and it was so easy to do compared with what I thought was involved. Really not sure why I abandoned this 5 years ago.
Morning all. Played a lot of South of Midnight over the weekend and about half way through. It's definitely a mixed bag but the graphics, artwork and music are all superb - the graphics are very impressive. It's worth playing just for these three things alone. The story touches on some hard subjects too, surprising for a video game - story though is pretty decent. What lets it down is the game play. The platforming is OK - fun enough - but kinda done it seen it all before and quite often better elsewhere. The combat though - every enounter is the same with the same enemies mostly and in closed off areas that all look very samey regardless of the artwork preceding it. The combat is adequate but it's far from anything special - they add new mechanics gradually through the campaign but again each mechanic is a variation on a theme. Had a couple of boss fights which again just plain OK. Shame really as the graphics, artwork and music are all 9-10/10 - all very polished. The game play however scrapes a 7/10 (perhaps 6/10 is more the mark but everything else is so good).

Yea I was going to ask if anyone is buying Oblivion. Included on Games Pass so I know where I’m playing it after South of Midnight. I do wonder if it will be much better on Pro but I’m not paying £60 to find out. And they call it a remaster. Looks to me to be a full on remake - graphically looks completely overhauled.
Has anyone bought Indiana Jones yet? It’s on PS5 now. I loved it so you know it’s good 😉.

Indiana Jones....maybe when it's a lot cheaper/free. Not a chance of them getting £70 out of me when I'm only mildly interested. Looks decent enough but definitely no hurry to play it

As it is, last night I played The Division 1 as I've got a real taste for those games now. I don't think I'll get fully into it like I did 2 but it'll scratch that itch.
Last night I also played Resogun in coop again and knocked a couple more trophies out of it. I think my coop partner should probably try and find someone else though as I'm just no good at these kinds of games (despite some minor improvement last night). If I can raise my trophy completion for the game over 30%, I'll consider it a bonus.

Finished South of Midnight. I certainly enjoyed it. Stunning graphics and artwork, amazing world, not so bad platforming and pretty mediocre combat. 7.5 on the r-score-o-meter.
I’ve started the Oblivion remaster. Initial impressions were very good, getting through the introduction dungeon area and breaking out into the outside world. Loved it, looks great bar the performance issues, and was hooked. Then the frustrations started. Into another dungeon following the mission way marker to a hard lock pick. Why? The game has just started. So had to back track. Then one of the early missions in the Imperial City and I must have committed a crime without my knowledge and every f’er is after me - I mean everyone at once. I should have gone to jail probably to rid myself of my wanted level but I persevered. I’m on the verge of binning it off - it’s not been fun except for the first couple of hours.

The plat looks doable apart from one trophy that looks a potential pain and plat buster. Win an Eliminator event online. I'm not going to think too much about trophies on this as I just want to enjoy it.

I've been over doing the trophy hawing of late so will be nice to just play the game like a normal person for a change.

I spent a few hours aimlessly wondering around in The Division 1 last night. They really refined the formula for the second game and the first game feels a bit rough in comparison. I think I'll bin it off again tonight as I imagine most of my gaming time will be spent behind the wheel in Mexico for the forseeable.

Felt a bit too tired to start something new last night so might start it tonight. If not tonight then defo tomorrow as I have the day off work (booked ages ago with intention to play FH5). I'm slightly worried about how much I've hyped it up in my own mind too. I think I just need to stop faffing around and get it played.

Formula Legends - an F1 game with a slightly cartoony aesthetic. Looks to sit somewhere between the yearly Codemasters F1 games and that F1 Stars game that came out on PS360 years ago
Roadcraft - you drive lorries, diggers and other large vehicles to rebuild areas hit by natural disasters. Has a coop mode too
La Quimera - don't know much about this but looks to be an homeage to 2007-2014 single player FPS campaigns. The gameplay footage I saw had strong Killzone vibes.
There's also a Borderlands 4 state of play/gameplay deep dive at 10pm tonight. Will definitely be watching that.

Plat wise it will be very much a marathon and if I get it, I imagine it'll take months if not years because of all the content and trophies. I'm kind of resigned to not getting it but that's fine.
Still feels weird playing this on PlayStation
