The order of this series is incorrect.
I've looked at the Louis L'Amour website and the list appears to be a suggested reading order.

The books were published with a number on the cover.
Shouldn't that be the way they are listed here?

Uploaded a photo of page inside my Sackett book which gives the book numbers.

Also worldcat agrees that this is book #12.
I've uploaded the cover if someone would please attach it and the page count is 188.
ISBN: 0553230018

Nan (xxmzsmilesxx) | 1167 comments Well alrighty, I'm stuck too.
I don't know if I'm counting wrong but the suggested reading order of The Sky-Liners places it as #11 NOT #12.....

Edwina Book Anaconda | 26950 comments But if you look at the book cover I uploaded it clearly has a 12 on it ...

Nan (xxmzsmilesxx) | 1167 comments That's what I mean Edwina, two conflicting information. The official sites says one thing and the actual book says another. The big question is which one do we follow....?

Edwina Book Anaconda | 26950 comments Well the way I see it Louis L'Amour was alive when the books were published with the numbers on them and since he died in 1988 way before the website was created then the books should be numbered by the year they were originally published.
Me, personally, would want to read the book published in 1967 before reading the one published in 1970 ...

Monique (kadiya) | 1097 comments It's because there is an internal chronological order that is different from the published order. The order in the Goodreads series uses the internal chronology and not publication order.

If there is a good enough reason to, a second series can be set up for publication order.
