I love the variety in your list... so hard to choose... how about
City of Thieves by David Benioff... I saw you had read and enjoyed some other WW2 novels, and this one's a really good one too!

message 106: by Rusalka, Moderator (last edited Jun 27, 2021 07:11AM) (new)

Rusalka (rusalkii) | 19206 comments @ Aya

I picked a couple from your list that I really wanted to read and thought you would enjoy too. But I couldn't go past Howl’s Moving Castle so that is my pick for you this month.

I have named two pets from that book (Turnip Head is currently standing 5cms away from my arm preening), so if you want to and haven't read it, I hope you enjoy it as much as me.

I do have to admit I developed the world's best spreadsheet with multiple formulas that pumped out the code for me.

I am stupidly chuffed that my work enhanced Excel skills made my book club life really easy.
