Ollie closed his eyes, relaxing himself. Now was the time where everything became clear. "In what way do you mean control?" he asked wanting to see what Jac thought before adding his thoughts on the matter.

"Like deciding what i do, wear, where i go, how i do thing, ectera." Jacqueline said watching him carefully. She hoped he was like the idiots shed hear about. She hoped she had some freedom and choice.
Opening one eye, he looked at her from where he sat. "I'm not that controlling." he said and opened his other eye, sitting straight up, "I'd like to know where you're going, possibly have a say depending on where and what it is, but I won't tell you where to go. Also, I might put up a rota of things I expect to be done, but your time is yours to spend doing what you like."
"And if i possibly-not confirmin this-want to go see my friend/ex?" Jacqueline asked biting her lip and taking a deep breath. She hadnt seen her best friend in forever. The fact was that he was also her ex,
Ollie's eyebrow lifted as he watched her body language, "Depends on why you would want to see this man?" he asked, feeling slight protectiveness of what belonged to him. His eyes never once left Jacqueline.
"I havent seen him in a while." Jac explained, openin her eyes again. After an break in, he had been hrt and was in the hospital. He was recently discharged but due to the Ceremeony, she hadnt gotten any time to go visit him.
He watched her intently with dark eyes before sighing and nodding softly. "As long as you tell me when and where for that one." Ollie closed his eyes again, "You can sit down you know."
"i...im okay." She said crossing her legs. She could feel his eyes watching her and it made her somewhat uncomfortable. She looked at him wondering if he was just tired. If that why he was being humane to her.
He could practically hear her thinking. The gears turning in her head. Ollie let a yawn escape him as he opened his now teary eyes. "What do you expect out of this?" he asked , "Maybe not expected, but what do you think will happen?"
"I...i honestly dont know. Firstly, theres nothing to expect other than To live. What i think? I guess i think that ur just like the rest of em. Just as oppressive and idiotic. But from what happened so far, i migt be wwrong. Or you might just be nice when ur tired." Jac said in honesty.
Ollie's face was blank as he watched her. She'd obviously had people in the past or has heard about what some men were like. He'd heard some pretty horrific stories, none of which he believed in, but he knew were a possibility. "You'll just have to wait and see." Oliver said passively.
"I guess I will." Jac responded, her face softening slightly. "Im extrememly tired, and if its all the same to you, I would like to go to sleep." She said, not exactly planning on falling alseep right away.
Ollie nodded, "Like said your free to do as you like." he said and leaned over to reach for the book he was reading earlier today. "We can speak tomorrow about some of the things I'd like you to do and other things."
"Things youd like me to do?" Jacqueline asked raising an eyebrow as she walked over to him. "And what other things?" She yawned and put her hand over her mouth. She stretched her arms, and kept walking until she was past him and settled herself in a split.
"Sleep." he said as he lifted his eyes to watch her over his book, "You said you were tired, so sleep and we can talk in the morning." Ollie gazed at her a few more seconds before his eyes fell back to the page he was reading from.
"Im not moving until you tell me these things youd like me to do." Jacqueline said stubbornly, staring at him. "Or at least give me a vague idea." She amended, being firm with her decision
Oliver lay his book on his lap and stared at her with dark eyes, "First of all, I'm treating you with respect - unlike some would - so show me some respect." he continued to stare at her, his voice firm. "We will speak in the morning." With a sigh he gave in, a little, "If you must know you can wake me up at eight thirty tomorrow since I tend to sleep over the alarm."
"Yes yes, im sorry." She said nodding her head. "well, that isnt bad. Its just waking you up. Good enough. Adios. And goodnight." Jacqueline got up and bowed and turned on her heels. She headed for her room and went in, jumping onto her bed. She lay sprawled on it, taking out her phone and watching a movie. Maybe he wasnt sooooooo bad.
Ollie felt bad for being so harsh in that moment, even if he did lighten the mood with her having to wake him up. Leaning back he pulled the book back up from his lap and started reading again. There were only a few more chapters left, he'd finish them then head to bed himself.
Jacqueline had fallen asleep by the time the movie was over. She hadnt changed or anything. Her phone was in her hand buzzing at the several texts she was getting. But after everything that happened today, she didnt wake up.
Finally finishing the book he moved to the bookcase and slid it back into place before moving to the the stairs. Slowly Ollie climbed them and made his way to his own room, peeling out of his clothes and pulling of sweat pants before settlin under the covers.
*time skip*
Jacqueline woke up at seven thirty itself. She washed her face and changed into a pair of shorts and shirt she found before heading downstairs. She made herself a coffee and settled down in the couch plugging in her headphones and listening to music. By the time it was eight thirty, Jac entered his room. "Rise and shine, Ollie. Eight thirty, sun is up and you should be too." She said closing the door behind her.

Oliver slept peacefully the whole night like usual. He was a deep sleeper, once he left the land of the living he didn't return until he was dragged back into it. Small groans and grunts left him as hu turned onto his side and pulled the covers up. "Too cold." he groaned and started to curl into a ball like a big child.
Jacqueline let out a soft laugh and sat down at the edge of the bed. "Do you need your robe or something? Or even a shirt?" She sat pulling the covers down until she could see him.
Ollie rolled onto his back and scratched his bare tattooed chest and right arm. "Nah." he grumbled finally opening his sleepy eyes. A yawn left him as he stretched out. "Coffee would be good though?"
"Ughhhh, Fine. Be right back." Jac said and reluctantly got up, not actually wanting to do anything. She went downstairs and made him coffee and brought it back up. "Here ya go." She said handing him the coffee.
Ollie had closed his eyes, but opened them when he heard footsteps on the stairs. "Thank you." he said softly with a light smile, taking a small sip and sighing happily. "Coffee is a god."
"True that." Jacqueline nodded with a smile, watching him. "So....what are your plans for today?" She hadnt anything for herself. If she hadnt been paired, she would be heading for work about now.
Oliver leaned back against the headboard as he watched Jac sitting across from him. "Hmm." he hummed in thought, "I have a few meetings to do with work, but apart from that, getting things sorted with you." Ollie regarded her curiously, "And you?"
"Getting things sorted with me...alright then." She said raising her eyebrows in amusement. "And normally? Id be heading to work, then come home and relax, and then go to the local orphanage until i oculdnt keep my eyes open." Jacqueline shrugged. It was her daily routine, to say the least.
"Do you like doing that?" he asked a little quickly as he took another long drink of his coffee. Ollie found it hard to work all the time, liking his own time to read or draw, but he knew there are some people who liked routines.
"Work? Nahhh. Relaxing at home and then seeing the kids? Yessss. But routines can change, it happens." Jac sighed and scratched her head. She didnt necessarily want it to change but she could adjust if it did.
He placed the cup on the bedside unit as he rolled his shoulder back before stretching them in the air. His elbows, shoulders and back popped a few times. "I don't mind if you keep your job or leave - I can support us. If you want to keep seeing those kids you can too."
"I dont want to go to work. But I do want to go keep seeing the kids. Cmon, you have to get out of bed." Jac said and held out her hand for him to use to get up.
Oliver groaned but took her hand as he sat on the edge of the bed before standing. "I don't mind. It's not health not leaving the house so I agree with you going to see the kids."
Jac smiled at him, pulling him up. "Thanks. Ill be going at around sixish." She said. "What do you want for breakfast?" She asked. Normally a coffee was all she had. But he had the luxury to have breakfast so she felt obligated to ask.
"I thought you didn't like cooking?" he asked as he reached into his bedside drawer and found a black vest to pull over his head. Turning back to Jac, he raised an eyebrow, "Are you hungry?"
"Yeah...but that doesnt mean im without manners. If i have to, ill make something." Jac shrugged. Then she shook her head as she watched him. "And no. I had a coffee. Thats good enough for me."
Ollie frowned at her, his dark eyes watching her. "Why are you not eating?" he asked bluntly. His hand moved up to run through his hair making it stick u worse than before.
"Thats a routine i dint know how to change. I guess i just never had the time or need." Jac said looking down. She was always nusying herself with others and helping them that she never really took care of herself. Well....she did enough so that she wouldnt get sick or die.
"Well I shall change it." Ollie said as his bare feet padded on the wooden floor into the hall and down the stairs. He didn't understand why he felt such a need to take care of the girl, but he went with it. "I'll cook something for us both." Even if he hated it he could still cook the basics.
"You can try but ill doubt youll succeed. I dont break out of habit easily." Jac said with a small laugh. She shook her dibelievingly following him down. "Oh? Do you want me to help?" Her father, one of the only reasons she accepted to this, had escpecially told her to be kind no matter how much she hated it. Sadly, his teaching worked and she couldnt be rude to him.
Ollie chuckled, "It's bad enough with me just cooking." he said when they reached the bottom. He by passed the living room and straight to the kitchen, "Eggy bread sound okay?" he asked knowing it was one of the easiest things he could make or Bacon on a roll?"
"How experienced are you in the field of culinary arts?" Jac asked hearing his suggestions. She didnt eat herself, but that didnt mean she didnt know how to cook. "How about i make us some pancakes?" She could easily make it seem as though she was eating with that. She was talented in faking after all.
Ollie sweatdropped, "Okay you win." he said in easy defeat as he stepped back, "The kitchen is all yours." Oliver chuckled as he sat at the dining table and watched her get to work((Sorry about the smaller replies - just not feeling to great.))
((Awww, i hope you feel better. Not feeling so great myself. But i have myself to blame for that.))
"Thank you." Jac laughed and got to work. She came back with a stack of pancakes, butter, and syrup. "If you want blue berries, just say so." She added as she sat down in front of him with another coffee in hand.

((Thanks :) ))His mouth watered at the sight in front of him, "Mmm, these look so tasty." he said before cutting a piece of and eating it. "Tastes like heaven." he moaned before looking at her. "You better be eating some of this."
She grinned, and felt herself blush a little. She shook her head. "Thanks and im good." She sat drinking her coffee, somewhat enjoying seeing him like that.
Ollie frowned before stabbing a piece with the fork and thrusting it across the table like a child, "Eat one bit and I'll stop pestering you?" he offered with a serious look, "I promise."
She grinned shaking her head. "You werent pestering me to begin wih." She mused, watching him.
