I’m so, so sorry to report another problem with my newly-listed forthcoming novel, but I have. no idea what could have happened between yesterday and today. There should be no periods in “AJ,” my first name, so I fixed that in my author dashboard profile. As of last night, “The Pursued and the Pursuing” (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...) was showing as one of my books, no periods in my name. Now, this morning, I have found that it vanished from being listed among my books. When I searched it, it turns out somehow the periods got back into my name and it is standing separate from my books/profile. I don’t know how to edit out the periods and get it back under my books; I think I cannot even access/edit the book record anymore because it thinks “A.J. Odasso” is a different person from “AJ Odasso.” Can you help? All my thanks in advance.

Goodreads standards require the periods, even if the book cover does not show them.
My legal name is AJ, just AJ. It doesn't have or need periods.

Oh also, for reference, this folder is only for deletions that require a Superlibrarian.
I'm truly sorry for being such an inconvenience, but it's been exhausting to get the message across in all the places I find my name as A.J. post-name-change in 2019. A.J. relates to my deadname; AJ as my new legal name without periods is a very deliberate choice. Is this definitely something Support can assist with, or will the system keep enforcing periods on me anyway? Do I need to submit ID to GR's legal team or similar to prove that my name is just AJ?
I am sorry it is all such an arduous process!I don't have insight into the policies or how they will handle it, so you will just have to direct your questions about it to them.
