History: Halen has always been a little different then most of the girls she knew. She always played by herself and had trouble communicating with other people. When she was 5 her parents took her to a specialist who diagnosed her with autism. Since then she has gone to many therapists who have tried their best to help her with social skills. When nothing worked her parents became overprotective of her. Halen has always loved learning about science and medicine and it almost seemed like her safe place. When she was learning about science or medicine all of her learning barriers seemed to disappear. It didn’t take people long to realize Halen had a very high IQ. Why deny it?Madeline was raised by her parents, both Threes. Mr. and Mrs. Beckett were both doctors, and they expected Madeline to become the same. But Madeline wanted to be a journalist, and after realizing how much their daughter loved to write, her parents relented. Madeline did well in school and spent her free time exploring her interests. When she was fifteen she started an internship with the local news company, writing short bits of articles for the paper and tagging along on interviews.
When the selection was announced, Madeline’s parents went wild. She took some convincing though. Why would she want to compete with thirty-four strangers for the affections of someone she'd never met and the throne? Eventually, though, the idea started to grow on her. She would enter her name in the lottery and if she was chosen, she'd compete, and if she wasn't, she didn't loose anything. When her name was announced, her parents lost it, babbling about what a great opportunity it was and how excited she should be. All Madeline could think about was how absolutly doomed she was. When the inital shock wore off, the eagerness set in. She would get to go to the Capital and meet the crown prince. Even if she didn't make it past the first week, it would still be a thrilling experience. And she would learn so much!And I won't waste my life being typical

History:
She was abandoned in the woods when she was 4 years old. Some how she managed to survive a few months, before being found by the Southern Rebals. Normally people dont think they are compasionate, but they are human too. They took her in and raised her to be one of the best assassins anyone had ever seen.
At one point she considered leaving the rebals, because she fell in love. But he broke her heart, and turned her into the emotionless person she is today
She seems very mean, but really shes a broken girl.

My mom left me and my father when I was just a newborn. My father raised me the best he could, but he couldnt do everything. when I was about 4 years old, He remarried a young girl, who was in need of a place. So she helped raise me and he gave her a home and food. For a few year- until I was like 10- Life was going great. I was really happy. But then my father took sick and so money was pretty much gone. My new mother became bitter because it was on her to take care of both me and my father. Over the years my father has grown worst, although some how still clinging onto life. My step mother guilt tripped me into putting my name into the selection, even though i was very much against it." Aella lets her eyes fill with tears. 'What are you doing?! You are basicly telling him the truth!!' The thought invades her mind but she pushes it away. Right now she need to focas on getting the prince off her back. ISADORA AVALON sage tullis
Isadora is like a mirror, her personality reflects whatever it needs to be at a certain time. She can be cunning and stone-hearted or sweet and respectful. But that's only how she is in the eyes of people she doesn't really trust yet. She can come of as polite and rather civil when you finish meet her.
Though once you actually get to know Isa, you'll realize that she's pretty kind actually and she's always willing to listen to other people's worries and doubts. Sure, she can be a bit distant and rude sometimes but that's normally only when her buttons are pushed a little to much.
She doesn't care for titles or the castes really. She knows there set in place to keep certain people grouped together but sometimes it isn't the best ranking around. Isadora treats servants and lower castes as equals most of the time, meaning that she doesn't go out of her way to make their lives miserable or wretchedly happy.
Isa loves learning about history, specifically history about her country and province. Whenever she's not designing buildings or anything else, she'll gladly snuggle up in some blankets and read as many books as she can get her hands on. Sure, she likes going for jogs and maybe a run here and there but she would much rather read than do anything overly physical.
She loves snow and water, though that might be mostly because she lives in a very snowy place were it's cold almost all of the time. There isn't a lot of sunlight either. She's pretty intelligent and very creative as she designs a lot of the buildings and structure in Yukon.
Isadora was raised in the snowy province of Yukon, born to Julia and Mark Avalon both Threes. She grew up with plently of money to have everything she needed. Whether it be clothing, food, or even toys when she was at a young age and she didn't take it for granted.
When she was five years old, she discovered her love for designing strange structures. Though since she was young, she used small building blocks to map out her designs. Her parents were overly excited that their daughter found her talent so early in life and they rewarded her with gifts. Such as notepads and colored pencils, even chocolates which were hard to come by in Yukon.
At the age of ten, Isa designed her first real bulding, it was the new town hall for the part of Yukon she lived in. The Avalon family was praised deeply for this, since Julia and Mark's daughter was so young and she designed a beautifully made structure that the town hall workers loved. Julia and Mark were somewhat afraid of their daughter getting cocky or bigheaded, but that never happened. Isadora was always so grateful for the things that she as able to get her hands on and she never thought of herself better than anyone else.
When Julia and Mark decided to have another child, their daughter was eleven and she was all for her parents having a baby, since she deeply wanted a sibling to play with. So, Julia gave birth to a baby boy though sadly, she died two hours after giving birth to the boy who she decided to name Sebastian after the crowned prince of Illéa.
After Julia's death, Mark began to heavy bury himself in different kinds of alcohol and he also began to favor Sebastian while starting to neglect his daughter. At first, Isa didn't mind since Sebastian had just been brought into the world. Though she did miss her mother terribly.
But than it got worse. Mark started to hit his daughter everytime she messed up something. And he would yell at her everytime she outshined her brother. Isadora didn't think anything other than he's still grieving from his wife's death. The truth was, Mark had gotten over Julia's death a long time ago and very quickly went to visit new woman.
Years past like this and when Isa turned nineteen, she quickly entered herself into the Selection as a way to escape the abuse from her father and the coldness of her brother.

history || hecate was born to two lawyers, and was the middle child of three. because they were the middle child, they received a moderate amount of pressure of her parents, but they loved their siblings fiercely. she received the best education possible, but their star subjects were geometry, latin, and debate. they took self-defense classes since age 9, and turned out to be very good at it.
as hecate grew up, she outpaced everyone in any class she was put in. so, her parents took her out of school and got a top-tier tutor for her. this tutor, named eva, was hecate's best friend for many years. hecate takes after eva as much as possible, with eva's understated elegance, poise, and mannerisms.
hecate knows that they have lived a life of privilege. that's why she became a judge, after having some basic experience as a lawyer. they want to take on cases where the unprivileged have a chance to prove their case, and she does indeed do that. her skill of being able to see past a person's lying facade is legendary, and she does her best to wield it properly.
hecate knows that they aren't perfect, but tries their best to help others and smile. they also very much prefer women over men for any type of relationship. they entered themself into the Selection because they didn't think that she would make it.
