The challenge runs from July 01, 2021 - September 30, 2021.
To complete this challenge, complete all tasks below.
A book may only be used once, minimum 150 pages
Rereads are allowed.

1. Read a book taking place in a rural setting.
2. Read a book from 50 years ago, i.e. published in 1971.
3. Read a book with a one-word title.
4. Read a book where one of the main characters is or was in prison.
5. Read the final book in a series.
6. Read a book written by an African author.
7. Read a book with flowers on the cover.
8. Read a book set on a ship (space or other).
9. Pick a book that you rated 5 stars in the last three years. Read another novel by the same author. If the book is a short story anthology featuring multiple authors, read another by the same editor.
10. Read a book with a title that starts with a vowel (A, An, I etc. count).

I loved Treasure Island, hope you enjoy it too.

One day I'll try Middlemarch again. I tried, but gave up. Still want to read it eventually.

Hi Carolien, Treasure Island is a reread, first read about 45 years ago. Enjoyed it back then. I wonder what a cynical, wordly-wise (so he thinks) grumpy old man will make of it.

This will be my first go at Middlemarch.

I'm sure you will enjoy it. I read it a few years ago and it was great fun.

The War that saved my Life is on my TBR, based on your 5 star rating of the other books by the author, I'm going to have to read that sooner.
