Sean and Kane have an opportunity to take Jesse during a soccer game but have to leave him when he resists capture. Did you think they made the right decision in that moment or should they have tried harder? What did you think of Jesse’s reaction?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2993 comments It was a real longshot that Jesse would have gone willingly, especially since his mother lied to him about Sean and he was only just starting to suspect his stepdad was a baddie. Taking him by force was not a good option.

Jesse's reaction was perfectly normal. This guy is a stranger and he had been warned about possible abductions. But, it got Jesse really looking at what was happening and questioning what was going on.

Robin (robinmy) | 2478 comments They never could have got Jesse out of the stadium without his cooperation. He wasn't going to just walk off with strangers.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3501 comments I agree. Jesse needed to agree for them to get him out of the stadium with no one getting hurt. If they tried to take him, and Jesse started to scream, they would all end up in jail.

Jesse's reaction was normal. He didn't have any clue about Sean and his relationship with his mother.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments Jesse's reaction was normal. They scared him. I'm not sure trying harder to get him would have been any better. They were in a crowded area.
I agree that the situation made him start looking at everything differently. That was a plus.

I thought that soccer game extraction plan was a long shot from the beginning. Jesse’s reaction was normal and predictable and the wisest move was to walk away. However, it was a good move as they were able to place doubt in Jesse’s head about Carson and the people around him.
