Daniel F. Soler (danielfsoler) | 4 comments Hi there,

I'm trying to understand how all this works, so please bear with me.

I have just joined Goodreads at the request of my partner (and editor), Belinda (grooviechickie on Goodreads).

She is trying to help me with the process of getting the play out there and 'known'.

So far, we have created my author page and have added the book to the GR catalogue.

How do we go about linking me with the book as the author?

And how do we then add the cover?

Advice really appreciated. This is all new to us so we're struggling a bit.

Cheers,
Daniel and Belinda

Hi Lieke, thanks for your response.

Where does it say that? On the book's page, or on my personal page? I can't see it... although when we click on the link to me as the author on the book's page, it goes to some profile page that's not mine (no photo or anything).

We would like to add my photo and the book's cover picture but can't see any way of doing this.

When I go to the 'edit data' to try and fix it, we get the message,

"Sorry, only users with librarian status can edit book and author data. If you would like librarian status, then please apply here."

Cheers,
Daniel and Belinda
