I'm at page 37 so far because I'm reading a lot of things together page 14: (view spoiler)
page 26: (view spoiler)
Read opening two chapters. Like you, an empty bookstore makes me more anxious than I’d like to think about.
First quarter - there’s a warmth to this I wasn’t expecting. Highlights just how closed off people are now.
Finished. Review on home page. Melancholy was used by one reviewer, and I think that about sums it up.

When we were first told to work from home I had a brief moment of thinking I would get so much reading done. the reality was that I struggled to pick anything up and focus on it for months...hated that feeling of being so disconnected.

Some of the book titles were a little more obvious than others - I was unsure about the dinosaurs book he keeps referring to...but it does make sense by the end.

I totally get it especially when you consider books an escape and suddenly there is just too much and even your escape is a little distant 😭😭

I’m a little bit slow because I read lots of books together so I haven’t finished like you even though it’s quite an interesting book, so I’ll just get back to you when I do :3

No need to apologise, Bayan, I do the same. BR reading tends to go in fits and starts - and I always set up too many - but I'll keep checking in and see what you make of it.

So far, the inevitable hasn’t worked out so well for Aaron Stein.
While his friends have gone to college and moved on with their lives, Aaron’s been left behind in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State, running a failing bookshop with his dad, Ira. What he needs is a lucky break, the good kind of inevitable.
And then he meets Hannah. Incredible Hannah – magical, musical, brave and clever. Could she be the answer? And could they – their relationship, their meeting – possibly be the inevitable Aaron’s been waiting for?
