I usually only use audiobooks when I'm knitting. Also worked when I was driving and stuck in peak traffic. That was an hour well spent. Brought down my road rage. Otherwise audio just doesn't work.

That's a shame Laura and Michelle. I love audio books. They add reading time to my day. I listen while I work and on my commute, which is normally 1.5 hours a day, more if there is an accident.
I can start the third book late this weekend or Monday. I am working on campus for the next two weeks, so a lot of audio time.

Opera? That is impressive. You could just sing at people on the highway, that would calm them right down. 😂

I love music as much as reading, so audio would cut into that, and sex scenes in audio is just a big no. Plus they read too slow and speeding it up sounds weird so nope can’t do it lol.

😂 😂 😂. I can just see how that would have worked. Not.
Although their were days I was trying to memories while driving or on my way to an audition and warming up in the car.
Can you believe when I was a student it got me out of a ticket. Twice. Those were the days. Have sung professionally in years.

The absolute must for listening to audio book is being busy with something. So it's not just sitting and listening. That I just can't do. That why I haven't done a lot of audio books.
I’m starting book 3 today. I’ll make a thread and use spoiler tags if I comment.
