I read my first Sue Grafton book about 30 years ago. I've been trying to get back to the series to finish it. I started U is for Undertow late last night.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 2090 comments I started Sue Grafton 30 years ago too. I have most of the series in paperbacks. In the 80s, my husband bought me the first one while I was recovering from surgery. I read A through T, then picked up the rest shortly after she died.

I see audible has the first 3 cold justice books bundled for 1 credit. I'm going that route.

Robin (robinmy) | 3473 comments I've been taking my parents and a friend to various appointments, so I've had a lot of reading time while I'm waiting.

I finished reading Targeted (Callahan & McLane, #4) by Kendra Elliot Targeted by Kendra Elliot. I think this was the best in the series.

My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I listened to Covet (Fallen Angels, #1) by J.R. Ward Covet by J.R. Ward. I read the first couple books in the series many years ago and needed a refresher to continue the series.

My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I read Fatal Promise (D.I. Kim Stone, #9) by Angela Marsons Fatal Promise by Angela Marsons. Loved it!

Finally, I have been listening to the Nancy Drew books that I read as a kid. The Bungalow Mystery The Bungalow Mystery (Nancy Drew Mystery Stories, #3) by Carolyn Keene by Carolyn Keene fits a challenge I've been working on.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 2090 comments I am reading some books with my granddaughter for her summer reading challenge. She enjoyed a couple audio books that we found on Netgalley. I'm going to suggest Nancy Drew> I loved those books.

message 16: by Robin (new)

Robin (robinmy) | 3473 comments I hope she likes them, Sharon. I'm working my way through the oldest set which started publishing in 1930. The language and writing style is very dated, but the story shines.

There are several newer sets of Nancy Drew books that she might like if these older ones don't appeal.
