Lisa Lynn aka Carole Lisa Lynn Gilbert (facebookcomcarolelisalynngilbert) | 77 comments If you’re interested in the true crime/religion genre, I have a new release that came out this month. It tells the solving of my momma and brother’s unsolved murders fifty years ago. “Unraveled, Time to Forgive, A True Ending to Murder” also tells of God’s forgiveness I had to learn since no justice would happen. Thank you for considering to review it!

Esteban, author of over 35 books published on Amazon including his autobiography ATF UNDERCOVER detailing his dangerous undercover cases, all his books are free for Kindle Unlimited Subscribers. Los Angeles, the City of Angels known for being the movie capital of the world also had a dark side with infamous gangsters like Bugsy Siegel, Mickey Cohen, Jack Dragna, Johnny Roselli, Frank DeSimone, Nick Licatta and many others. The Los Angeles crime family prospered during the middle of the 20th century and today are only a shadow of what they once were. The mobsters had a strong grip on L.A. extorting film production companies, infiltrating unions, gambling rackets, murders and other serious criminal offenses. This is the rise and fall of the Mafia in the City of Angeles.

Ignacio Esteban | 410 comments Just released on Amazon, ATF VS. FBI: The Rivalry Inside the DOJ by retired ATF Special Agent Ignacio J. Esteban, author of over 40 books published on Amazon including his autobiography ATF UNDERCOVER detailing his dangerous undercover cases, all his books are free for Kindle Unlimited Subscribers. He has also done numerous podcast shows as a guest discussing numerous topics including organized crime, politics, his autobiography and all his books.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) have been rivals even before ATF entered the Department of Justice (DOJ) in 2003. The FBI mindset has always been they are the tip of the spear and should be running all major investigations while perceiving ATF and other agencies as smaller and not at their caliber. The FBI has over 35,000 employees according to their website while ATF has slightly over 5,000 employees. ATF is a very specialized federal agency mainly dealing with federal firearms violations, explosives, and to a lesser degree with alcohol trafficking and tobacco diversion while the FBI deals with an array of violations from counter-terrorism, espionage, white collar investigations, public corruption and other federal violations.

ATF was in formed in 1972 in the Department of Treasury while the FBI was formed in 1908 in the Department of Justice with both agencies having their fair share of scandals and turf battles over major cases in the United States. Both have been portrayed in movies, TV shows, documentaries and all over the internet. This is the rivalry of David vs. Goliath within the DOJ, the history and battles of both agencies in American law enforcement.

Would you read my book as a beta reader please?
It's an unusual contemporary literary suspense novel with a hint of the supernatural and a love story twisted through it.

Ignacio Esteban | 410 comments Just released on Amazon, The Most Dangerous Crime Syndicates in Canada by retired ATF Special Agent Ignacio J. Esteban, author of 48 books published on Amazon including his autobiography ATF UNDERCOVER detailing his dangerous undercover cases, all his books are free for Kindle Unlimited Subscribers. He has also done numerous podcast shows as a guest discussing numerous topics including organized crime, politics, his autobiography and all his books.

Canadians refer to Canada as “The North” or “Hockey Nation” and are neighbors to the United States having the same problems with organize crime, street gangs, firearms trafficking, drug smuggling and gun violence as the U.S. The Italian Mafia, the violent biker gangs often knowns as one percenters, street gangs, drug organizations, firearms traffickers and other dangerous criminal groups thrive in the Maple Leaf nation. Many perceive the Canadian government soft on organize crime with a weak judicial system and a poorly managed socialist government. Major Canadian cities like Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and others are gang infested with a high rate of gun violence even though Canada has extremely strict gun laws. At the end these laws only victimized law-abiding citizens from being able to protect themselves and their families from dangerous armed criminals. Gun control does not work.

In the 21st century, Canada is a weak socialist crime infested nation that has seen the violent crime syndicates grow while controlling their population in the name of socialist-leftist agenda. This is the shocking reality of “The North” and their failure to stop the growth of these violent syndicates.

Lizet Algras (lizetalgras) | 17 comments At age 68, I recently released my first novel, The Cinnabar Medallion. It is #7 on the Free Kindle Best Sellers Women's Historical Fiction and #28 in Historical Fantasy today. I would sincerely appreciate it if you read it you posted the review.

While searching for the elixir of life through ancient cities and eerie caves in Spain, a 1600s Gypsy witch and healer faces many challenges that still hunt us today. Created with a genre-blending style in mind, its tone intertwines from adventurous, suspenseful, and humorous to compassionate and sometimes romantic.

Peter Taylor-Gooby | 27 comments My new Market World novel: "A Kinder City" is up for review. Contact me for a Mobi or Epub - ptg@kent.ac.uk. Hope you like it!

Here's what it's about:
The City is ruled by the law of the market, a fair price for a fair trade and no exception, no gifting, no help, no aid; no compassion, no charity, no love. Only justice. The Enforcers stand outside the market. They impose that law. No-one likes them with their black uniforms and their whips, but everyone knows that without them the City will fail. You could call that respect, but David wants more.
Compact, wiry, fresh-faced he is an Enforcer new-minted, he wants people to understand what the Enforcers give to the City. He wants to make the world better, he wants people to trust him. Otherwise how can he be part of this world?

Douglas Emerson | 14 comments Hello everyone,
My name is Douglas Emerson. I’m a consultant and coach specializing in project management and goal-setting. Over the years, I’ve helped people move from vague ambitions to clear, structured results.

My debut book, Start at the Finish: The Power of Reverse Planning, presents a simple but powerful system for achieving clarity, confidence, and consistent progress by planning backwards from your desired outcome.

I’d be happy to connect with fellow readers and authors here. If anyone is interested, I can share a free copy of the eBook in exchange for an honest review on Goodreads or Amazon.

Looking forward to learning from this community and joining the conversation!
