I was earlier confused when JK Rowling started posting this transphobic stuff, because although I didn't support her views, Harry Potter is a huge part of my life and it was hard for me to separate the books from the author.

yes, totally get you. it's such a shame that shes someone like that, i really looked up to her but sigh this is why we cant have nice things. i'll still appreciate the world she created but will probably treat it as a separate entity. as far as i know, Emma Watson wrote Harry Potter 🤷♀️ jkr? dont know her
