Come here to swim or have a picnic, or play games with friends.
Both Josiah and Bailee headed to the beach on a bus. After a few minutes, they both got off.
Josiah walked down to the water, dipping in a toe. It was slightly warm and mostly cold, but it didn't keep him from going in ankle deep.
"It's nice, come on," he said motioning her over.
Bailee slipped her shoes and socks off, following him into the water, "Its cold!" she whisper yelled, hitting Josiah playfully on the arm.
"Ow," he said, and laughed a bit.
Josiah had a high tolerance to cold, which he realized once she made her comment. He often walked around without shoes in the snow, since it didn't hurt his feet.
Bailee laughed, "Good, this water is soooo clod," She said, laughing. She walked out of the water and sat on the sand, watching Josiah with a smile.
(Sorry I thought I replied!)
He looked over his shoulder at her,
"You just need to get used to it," he tells her.
Josiah continued to kick around in the water, his pants rolled up to his knees keeping them dry.
Bailee pursed her lips but stood up and slowly went into the water.
Josiah smiled, his hair glowing from the sun over the water, it was a real smile. Not some fake he put up to keep other's at ease.
Bailee smirked but after a few minutes of getting used to the water she kicked water up at Josiah and giggled.
"Ack!" "Dude, I had been dry for so long," he said, it was a joking groan.
He rolled up his shelves and splashed up water her way, hoping to get her wet, even a little.
(Yes, thank you Leena)
Bailee laughed and ran away from him, still in the water. "She bent down and splashed him again, laughing and smiling the whole time.
Josiah held a hand full of water in his palms and changed it into snow. Making a quick snow ball he threw it at her with a laugh, he was smiling as well, and he hard to read shell was falling off.
"No, no, no!" She yelled with a playful groan as the snow hit her, square in the chest. It pushed her into the water. "Ack!" She yelled as she fell into the water with a small splah. She looked up and glared at Josiah.
"Remember I can dry you off," he assured her and ran over to help her up.
Knowing very well that she could pull him into the water as well without trouble.
Because Bailee was the way she was she grabbed his arm and pulled him into the water, laughing as he fell.
Josiah lay on his back in the water, he was laughing,
"I knew you would do that," he said, he was beaming.
Being the happiest he had in a long time, and made him quite a positive character.
"I thought you would have known better," Bailee said with a laugh. She relaxed in the water, letting her head float.
He sat up shaking out his head, water dripping from his white hair, his brown eyes seemed alive with happiness. Josiah had no idea where he'd been without having met Bailee.
Bailee looked up at him, laughing. "Where would I be wothout meeting you?" She whispered, barely audible.
"No idea," he states, "But I could say the same for myself," he smiled at her.
Looking at the water around him, he presses his palm, still, the surface froze ever so slightly.
Bailee sighed, she sat up and watched as the water froze around her. She watched as the coolness of the ice touched her skin. She looked up at Josiah.
Josiah didn't look at her but watched the water surface crystalize into beautiful shapes around them. Then once he tapped it with his finger it shattered into pieces.
"Beautiful," Bailee whispered. She didnt look up at Josiah. She watched as all of the shapes were created but then with a single touch they all shattered, crashing down back into the water.
Josiah smiled and put an arm around her shoulder. He pulled her closer and helped her up,
"You're going to get sick," he told her and led her to the sand.
Bailee was to amazed to answer him back, she just nodded and let him lead her to the sand.
Josiah used a gust of wind to dry her off, and did the same for himself.
"Better?" he asked, making sure she wasn't cold.
Bailee nodded, but she was always one to catch a cold like it was a part of her. She sniffled her nose, but smilee all the same, "Yeah, what about you?" She asked.
"Oh I'm fine," he said smiling.
Jack rarely got a cold, but he did get fever's and hot flashes which were hard for him to deal with.
"Thats good," she whispered. Bailee looked iver at Josiah; just looking at him made her blush red.
He held out a hand to her,
"You ready to go back?" he asked her.
Josiah was clearly opening up to her, and he seemed to have forgotten that last time it broke him, but he wasn't going to ruin the good feelings because of something dumb.
Bailee nodded, "Yeah, its getting cold out here anyway," she said with a small smile. She placed her hand in his and stood up.
Josiah took her hand and walked with her to the bus stop, it wouldn't be a long ride back to the school which was something he was thankful for.
"You ok?" She asked, looking over at him. She let him lead her back to the bus stop.
(Sorry!)
"Yeah," "Never been better," he was smiling as he stepped onto a bus, still holding her hand and pulling her inside after him.
Walking to the back he found two spots next to each other, letting her sit first then him next to her.
Bailee gigled, and blushed red when she looked down at Josiah and her hands intertwined. She smiled and followed him into the bus, sitting down first.
"Well that was nice," he said finally.
Josiah had enjoyed the time spent together, much better than the party the night before, which for once hadn't been his favourite thing.
Bailee smiled. "Back to the dorms then?" She asked, looking over a Josiah. Her cheeks light pink.
"Yeah," Josiah replied.
Looking at Bailee made him happy, she was such a kind person deep down, under all that aggression. Plus she was cute.
(Should we just post them at their dorms?) (I don't think Josiah has one, lol, but that's fine)
Bailee blushed looking at him. He really was such a kind and caring person, underneath all that toughness. "Sounds good to me," she said, smiling.
